Previously in Baker Land:
After Leila gets pregnant with Dervish's baby. Phase 2 of Dervish's plan starts and he convinces the entire Baker clan to drink Vamp-B-Gone and become human. Noticing that Dervish's plan is going smoothly Ash requests to be relieved of his bodyguard post because he's in love with Dervish, but Dervish is having none of it and a few months later the persistent alien gene rears its head when Dervish realizes he's pregnant with Ash's baby. But before he can spread the good news it's hospital time.
As part of Dervish's plan the entire family had to abandon their vampire nature. Some took it in stride.
Others. Not so much.
Lizette: How am I suppose to catch robbers now?!
Mikaela: OMG I can see my wrinkles!
Scarlet: *unfazed and sexy*
Drako had the honors to host Noelle's birthday into toddlerhood. Dervish had a girl. Pictures were lacking.
Noelle is a great blend of her parents.
And Dervish's little vampire princess.
Arranging that Noelle would stay with Dervish. Arrow was free to woe and marry Leila.
They move out quickly after, in a limo. Note that Leila is driving while Arrow is thinking about bugs.
And just like that Ash and Dervish are thrown into parenthood.
While the family keeps growing Beau is still working on those vaccination clinics.
Alice (visionofvim): I suddenly don't think this is a good idea.
Beau: Don't worry. The needle is larger than it looks. I can't miss.
Beau: Hey! Why am I running a daytime clinic? I'm still a vampire!
Beau: I don't feel so good.
Beau: Aw, crap.
Beau: That was less interesting than I thought. Oh well. Zoe baby, I'm coming home!
From 3.1 to 6.2. It's hard playing this game without you.
After Beau's death the family moves to a mansion.
Drako: Out of my way! I need to pee! Where the heck is the bathroom?!
With things settled Ash and Dervish can concentrate in raising the girls.
River is a sweet girl.
The good thing about living with your folks is that Dervish and Ash can go on a date with little notice.
Ash: I always wanted to try skinny dipping!
Dayum Dervish. Ash is a lucky guy.

Lizette: Oh gosh! I did not need to see that!
Ash: Seems someone doesn't like the fact we are naked.
Dervish: Seems so. Poor soul. Maybe we should help her get over it.
Ash: Indeed.
Lizette: @-@
Ash: Dervish. Before we go home there's something I need to ask you.
Ash: I bought this before River was born.
Dervish: Is that what I think it is?
Ash: So?
Dervish: Now I get to keep you forever.
Dervish likes his new ring.
A few days later it was time for a wedding.
Dervish: So glad you could make it Arrow!
Dervish: I hear you are famous now. Can I have your autograph?
Arrow: Sure big brother!
Dervish hair decided to act up that day.
But otherwise it was a perfect day. On a side note it seems Hayley is driving Alice off the edge since she chopped off her hair.
Dervish was the center of attention as it should have been.
Arrow: Maybe I shouldn't have bought that blackboard.
In contrast to Alice, Randall seems to be flourishing under Hayley's care.
Drako: So when can I expect a wedding invitation?
Randall: Wedding? I thinik hell will freeze over before Hayley proposes.
Drako: Then why don't you-
Randall: To be honest I'm a little tired of waiting, but whenever she thinks it's right.
Drako: ...
Poor Randall is whipped.
After the party was over and everyone had gone home there was a small cheer coming from the garden. Seems Claude is stuck.
With the girls settled in the new house.
Dervish and Ash decide to expand their brood.
With the new extra lawn space, the family got creative with the ancestor graves.
And they decided to come out in full.
Beau! :D
Beau+Skyler+Valen: ...
Beau: Valen you are all pasty.
Dimitri: Hey guys can I join in?
Valen: Sorry I have to go haunt a bookcase.
Beau: Yeah...same here.
Dervish: Mom? Could you, you know, put some pants on when you are cooking?
Dervish: Oh! Baby is coming!
Dervish: I don't know if I want to go to the hospital. Last time it didn't go too well with dad screaming.
Drako: OMG WHERE IS IT GONNA COME OUT OF?!
Dervish: I think I'll drive myself to the hospital.
Claudia and Drako took care of the girls while Ash and Dervish went to the hospital.
They came home with a boy.
This is Guy.
For a while life in the Baker house was perfect.
Ash: Dervish.
Dervish: I just want things to stay like this. If only mom and dad hadn't-
Ash: Hey! It will be all right ok? Will work it out somehow. We have a plan right?
Dervish: Yes.
Ash: It will work out.
But no matter how much Dervish wanted it, time moved on.
Sam: Hello, Dervish.
Dervish: Hi, Sam.
Sam: Haven't seen you since we where what? 11?
Dervish: About that time.
Dervish: Is this him?
Sam: This is my boy, Dashiell. Where's your girl?
Dervish: Over there playing.
Dervish: Let's sit in the living room.
Sam: You know I came here because I had to.
Dervish: I don't like this any better than you do.
Sam: Where does this end, Dervish? You, me, Leila, and Lin. We had our children like they wanted, but what about them?
Sam: I want my son to have his own life.
Dervish: Don't you think I want the same? I've been trying to do what I can-
Sam: Is that why you stopped being a vampire?
Dervish: So you noticed?
Sam: It's kinda hard not to notice.
Sam: They will kick you out when they find out. You will no longer be the boss.
Dervish: Things are calm now. They won't bother us for a few more years as long as they believe we are setting up our kids like they wanted.
Sam: Aren't we?
Dervish: They will know each other, but I am not ordering anything.
Dervish: I guess this means is time for phase 4.
Ash: Finally!
Dervish: So, Sam. You in?
Sam: Absolutely.
And so the Bakers moved.
Ash: Why this place, Dervish?
Dervish: I don't know. I just felt something pulling me to this place.
Noelle grew up on the way. She got the insane trait.
Kitchen and living room.
Kids room.
Basement apartment for Drako and Claudia.
It's a fortress.
The rest of the family also moved.
I think that insane trait may be trouble.
Noelle: Uncle, Arrow! Uncle, Arrow!
Arrow: Ah! There's a mini Leila running towards me!
Slowly but surely they settled in the new house. No one said parenthood was easy.
The worry cloud disappears at least for now. And that little thing that happens to Baker men happens again.
Dervish: Blergh!
The ghosts have settled in, but they have this habit of haunting the next door neighbors.
Dervish likes to channel grandpa Beau on occasion.
Reason #71 for ending vampirism. That is Alec and Lizette's new toddler. At this rate there's never gonna be a spare post.
Claudia: So, Hayley? How are you doing these days? How is Randall and Alice?
Hayley: Oh- They are fine, just fine. Everything is fine.
Things are not so fine since Alice had another baby and announced it was Torey's love child.
But it was Hayley's baby.
Alec: So, Claudia. You look better every time I see you.
Claudia: What the heck, Alec?
Alec: Please don't tell Drako I just did that!
Ash: I did not just see that.
It was River's birthday.
And baby decided that was the time to come out.
It was a boy.
What a face! This is Liam.
Liam: *sigh* What is the point of everything?
He's so adorable.
