In charge of it all

This week my boss is on vacation, so I get to do everything.  I say "get" because honestly... it's sooo easy.  Criminally so.  I keep thinking I'm going to get in trouble or something for just sitting there, but I honestly get everything done.  When my boss isn't there, I can do all the paperwork much faster than she can... and that's with me fumbling around trying to figure things out, no less.

She has more experience doing this particular paperwork, but the workload here simply can't compare to a government office.  My boss stresses over the five filing cabinets we have... I'm used to three ROOMS of files.  Our Monday reports that usually take her all day were done by noon, and that's with me having to research how to do some of them and call another store for directions.  I started doing my backlog of paperwork this afternoon, but had to stop when I realized that I wouldn't have anything to do the rest of the week if I finished them.

Normally I would have more to do with training new hires, but we don't have any at the moment.  Sooooo....

I'm tempted to steal people's name badges so that I can make new ones, just as an excuse for something to do.

Otherwise, I'm not doing much... although I did purchase Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls for GBA.  I never actually finished the original FF when I was seven or eight... the Chaos Shrine was too hard for me then.  I'm looking forward to finishing these two games, as that will leave only FFV before I can say I've played every main-series Final Fantasy.
