Things I loved and hated about Dead Reckoning
My main interest in this series has become who Sookie ends up with.
Thing I loved: More Sookie canon.
Thing I hated: Eric didn't die. I know it's never going to happen but hey, I can dream.
Thing I loved: Bill didn't die.
Thing I hated: The first mention of Bill in the book is page 140.
Thing I loved: Claude and Dermot live with Sookie.
Thing I hated: Claude stops living with Sookie.
Thing I loved: Judith is gone! Woohoo!
Thing I hated: It takes a woman that looks like Bill's wife to tell Sookie right in the face Bill loves her and she still has to ask if he loves her. Seriously? It's like Sookie doesn't even remember book 9.
Thing I loved: The blood bond is gone! Woohoo!
Thing I hated: Eric and Sookie had sex.
Thing I loved: It was just sex. Less than a page long sex.
Thing I hated: Sookie's sometimes superiority complex. It sometimes didn't feel like the same character.
Thing I loved: Discovering that Eric pretty much did EVERYTHING the Bill haters hate Bill for. Hahaha win.
Thing I hated: Sookie had no reaction towards it /RAGE
Thing I loved: Sookie had to get naked with Bill. I love the rain.
Thing I hated: I have to constantly stop myself from getting my hopes up.
Thing I loved: Eric has to (probably) marry the Queen of Oklahoma.
Thing I hated: Not enough on Claude's fae coven.
Thing I loved: Naked!Alcide
Thing I hated: Once again no mention whatsoever when Sookie realized she still loves Bill in book 9.
Thing I loved: We finally know where the telepathy comes from.
Thing I hated: It doesn't explain why Barry has it.
Thing I loved: Eric had been conspiring/reporting to Niall for a long time.
Thing I hated: This probably means Niall meant Eric at the end of book 9. Rats.
Thing I loved: Bill is completely healed from the silver poisoning.
So finally it looks like Eric and Sookie's relationship is breaking at the seems. I actually never thought it could happen so I got biased enjoyment from that. I'm still not getting my hopes up, but I will read the next book.
I think the revelations about Eric are almost paralleled to why Bill is so hated in fandom, but I'm so tired of debating and Sookie fandom is for the most part irrational.
Alcide is out of the picture. Sam is out of the picture. Quinn is out of the picture. Anyone out there thinking it's not between Bill or Eric is reading something else.
Sookie is going to use the clavier dor thingy either to kill someone or save someone. My money would go to saving someone or more specifically turning someone human.
