ill make it anywhere!
hey. i almost never post. why do i ever do it?
i have news:
yesterday i put my letter of resignation at the job i have been working at and complaining about for the last six months. and two nights ago i put my room up for rent on craigslist. im skipping town.
im going to ny for seven months or so. the boyfriend got a sweet job there and im going with him. what will i do?
1: dick around the city and marvel at my good fortune
2: take a bunch of improv classes
3: work as a stage manager for Chicago City Limits
4: work as a private investigator
5: write a sex column for the paper and wear poofy skirts
6: spend time at the NYU library reading shit
7: eat pizza
8: do lots of stand-up
9: live in the lower east side with all the hipsters.
10: not work in an office and have precious moments sucked from my life.
11: celebrate new years in times square
12: freeze my ass off
13: go to see all that art
14: go see all that theatre
15: get my ass on the daily show
16: stalk conan obrian
17: revel in central park
18: travel around the east and visit friends and family
19: write a screenplay about a carefree girl in NY to take back with me to LA
20: update my livejournal to keep in touch with all my west coasters so they dont forget about me.
i figure thatll take up a little time. i am requesting everyone's input as to how to take advantage of this incredible opportunity. factors to keep in mind:
- i dont really need to have a job, my expenses will be low.
- i have just recently started introducing red meat into my diet after nine years of abstinance. i have been considering giving it up again, but i could always swing the other way.
- i have a boyfriend, so any sex related ideas would have to include him (unless they are a solo activity).
- i am afriad of guns and snakes.
- I love aquariums
- i hate filing and data entry
- i am not a good actress but am willing to try
- i have allready read "the lovely bones" and thought it was so-so.
