I was worried I was just falling prey to fandom's inclination towards Aiba's naivete but honestly, he's a sheltered merboy in this one so I've decided to... not worry so much. I'm really happy about what you pointed out wrt his POV too. And you got emotion out of the interlude (!!
) which I personally thought I botched because er, you get nothing out of Sho,

How've you been? I sometimes randomly think of you teaching in Gokusen. I bet you're an amazing teacher so hang in there okay!

It totally works - and it might just be me, but I think you get a lot out Sho, simply from everything he doesn't say. I am a sucker for body language, and this has it in bucketloads.

Gokusen - yeah. I LOVE the kids. The workplace pressure and one or two members of the staff are a bit of a challenge, but I am surviving. I have some lessons where I just want to cry because they don't work - but I have been told that it fairly common.
I remind myself that I would suffer the same issues no matter where I worked - and it all pales in comparison to the fact that I am finally where I want to be. That, and Arashi, get me through the day <3
