Do you read or write fanfiction? Both.
When did you first start reading/writing fanfiction? This is very hard for me to anwser. I've been writing fanfic since before I knew what fanfic was. When I was 6 or 7, I use to pretend my barbies where the Buffy The Vampire cast, which is fanfic in a weird abstract way. I was solidly writing Harry Potter stories by the time I was eleven. The first fanfic I ever read was for Harry Potter and I was 13. Soon after, I found Irresistible Poison by Rhysenn ( iscaris ) and discovered slash. I started posting and calling what I'd been doing for so long fanfic and the rest is history.
What was your first fandom? Officially, I'm going with Harry Potter.
First ship? Harry/Draco. :) Also, Buffy/Spike (pre-6th season, though)
What website do you use most? I'm a total LJ whore anymore. ^^
What do you think of Fanfiction.net? I started off reading mostly on FF (since I was into HP) and I like it well enough. They have a lot of silly rules that no one even follows, though. I think if you're going to have the rules, at least inforce them.
What fandoms have you written in? Oh my God... *blinks* ... *sigh* Okay. Harry Potter, AFI, Avenged Sevenfold, Aiden, Blink 182, Fueled by Ramen, Jonas Brothers, Disney RPS (god, I know), Smallville, Lord of the Rings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Tokio Hotel, Panik, HIM, Viva La Bam, Jackass, Kill Hannah, My Chemical Romance, We the Kings, Sing It Loud, Madina Lake, Plain White T's, Take Cover, You Me And Everyone We Know, All Time Low, Across the Universe, Tin Man, Transformers, Supernatural, Holes, Chronicles of Narnia, Eagle Eye, Xena Warrior Princess... *thinking* ... Any fandoms you would like to write in? Hollywood Undead, but that intimidates me...
Do reviews affect how you write in any way? I don't really think so... It depends on the review. There are some people whose words I take to heart (Mel, Mandy, Jelly, Chelsea, Lucy, to name a few) but for the most part, I try not to let it affect me either way.
Do you use a beta? I have, and I really should do so more. I always have Mandy read through them and she catches the blaringly obvious.
What ratings do you read/write? I'm all over the board.
What warnings have you used on your fiction/read? Again, all over the board.
Do you have any squicks? Watersport. Yucky. Also anything to do with shit. I so am not into that. Bleck. *makes a face* *shakes head* No.... Other than that? Not really.
Do you role-play online? Nope
Have you ever stolen something from another person’s work? No!!!! Absolutely not!!!! *scandalized* That, in my mind, is a sin that should be punishable by death.
Favorite fandom to write/read? To write? Hmmm... I love writing Avenged Sevenfold and My Chemical Romance.... To read? Definately Supernatural, Harry Potter (yes, still), and German Rock.
Favorite pairing? Oh, jeez. Can I plead the 5th?
Favorite writer/writers? Oh dear God... fire_lucy , steinsgrrl, lirren , undrockroll , cynical_terror , naruke_chan since Mel already had them listed and I totally agree... bonevalo , hegerbabe, gal8028 , jadegates
How long should a chapter be? At LEAST 3-4 pages.
Do you write/read drabbles? I read them, but I suck at writing them. I've tried, and ended up with 20 pages.
Any fandoms you avoid? Twilight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pairings you avoid? Anything that breaks up my OTPs. :) Anything that has Bushido and isn't written by steinsgrrl
Warnings you avoid? I usually avoid character death and het. xD
Do the number of reviews tell how good a story is? No, not even close.
What do you think of Mary Sues? *looks aroung guiltily* Okay, okay, okay. I've probably written my fair share. By I try really hard to keep my het fics from going Mary sue. This is why I tend to avoid het at all costs.
Have you ever flamed someone? Yes. They tore my Lucy to pieces, so they totally deserved it. And a few times when someone has stolen work from a friend .
Have you ever been flamed? More times than I care to count but I never let it bother me. I tend to think they're funny.
That’s it, aren’t you glad? Only because now my roommate will stop nagging me to go shopping. :)
