So you know who's great? my dad. My dad is awesome.
You know who's also great? the dalai lama. I saw him yesterday at the MCI center. From the next to last row in the 400 section, but stilll. He's profound AND likeable.
What an enriching weekend! I went to Rangila on Saturday night. It's this huge performance of amazing South Asian dance that half the school participates in. I am SO doing it next year. It was just electrifying to watch so many people have so much fun. Then I went out and partied with DC Schools peeps. Yay for drunk tutors. (PS Amelia, I'm glad I could be there to help you).
Proof that I am a nerd: I wrote "simone loves anna and yunji; they are beautiful friends" in arabic on anna and yunji's whiteboard at like 11 last night. I realized at 1am that I'd left out a definite article so I had to go upstairs and fix it.
Further proof that I am a nerd: I ENJOYED studying for my Problem of God test today because my study group makes me laugh. And because Hume is fucking awesome.
EVEN MORE PROOF: I AM LISTENING TO VIVALDI. Sometimes it be like....DAMN.
Oh wait you know who else is awesome? My roommate. I love that girl. She is one of my favorite people ever.

A month from today, the semester is officially over for me. A month from tomorrow, I'll be home.
