Crazy day
So today has been so damn crazy, that I figured I'd update. Well this morning when I walk outside, it was barely sprinkling rain and then as I got closer to G'boro I started hitting hard rain bands on and off all the way to school. Well, I finally get there around 8:15 and its still just raining a lil on and off...I fell asleep and woke up at 9:45 to go to class and it was pouring buckets and never let up, so of course I got DRENCHED, even though I still had an umbrella.
Well I was inside the business building all day and got ready to go to my 2pm class to take my daily quiz and I hear 3 things about weather. (1) Lightning struck down somewhere really close to campus...(2) A tornado was sighted close to Four Seasons mall...(3) Part of Wendover was flooded. Then the fire alarm in the business building going off. Well, we go outside because ALL the power on campus was completely gone. Had to stand outside for about 30 mins before we went back in and then when we did get back in they told us that all power to the business building was gone and it wouldn't be back anytime soon, so we didn't have class today and they cancelled classes because of it. All in all, a pretty crazy ass day with the hurricane.
On a side note, I got the job at Spencers at Four Seasons and I'll be starting September 16th. Hooray for me and hooray for money. Other than that...nothing much really going on. Friday me and Jessie will have been together 7 months, go us! I'm stayin here tonight and Friday so that'll rock much ass. Hmm, oh yah, everyone come out to Ace's Basement on Friday since it's Lunacy's last show for a while and Kyle's last show with the band.
