[Myhrta is sitting at a table, her chin cupped in her hands. Small crystal vials sit on the table in front of her. She is smiling at the screen, which is propped up a little way away from her.]
Hello, everyone. For any newcomers here, I am Myhrta Starshower, and I run the infirmary along with Miss Takano. We'll help with anything from minor maladies to intensive healing, though we hope neither will happen. If you're fine with magical healing, please ask for me. If you'd prefer a less supernatural kind, please ask for Takano.
[Her smile grows.]
I spend much of my free time gathering herbs and making potions for the benefits of Demeleier. If you ever want to pick up a sleeping aid, a mild painkiller, a menstrual preventative or anything of that nature, feel free just to come in and sign them off the ledger. They should be clearly marked on the shelves. Payment isn't necessary, but giving herbs and returning containers is appreciated!
If there is still enough interest, Takano and I can hold classes for alchemy and first aid again. Just let us know!
[And now she pulls the vials towards her.]
Before I go, I want to talk about these. These are slightly trickier potions that I've been working on for a while. They're something of a survival set, and I'll bundle them into baskets and leave them at the infirmary for people who need them to take. They each include:
[She holds up a thin crystal vial, roughly five inches long, and filled with pale blue liquid.] An elixir of water breathing, which will let you breathe under water for up to thirty minutes.
[She puts it down and then lifts up a smaller, fatter crystal vial, filled with a colourless liquid.] This is a 'free action' potion. I can't guarantee its effects all the time, but it might help you to see through some of the more insidious glamour of our captors. The forced terror, the grabbing of attention... things like that.
[This one goes down too, and she picks up another vial - rounded bottom, thin neck, filled with purple liquid.] This is a lesser invisibility potion. It'll make you fade indefinitely as long as you stay in one spot, or give you fifteen seconds of mobile invisibility. Please don't abuse this potion! It's very difficult to find a substitute for fadeleaf, and I'd rather it was used properly than just for laughs.
[The next vial that comes up is mostly circular, and filled with green liquid.] A swiftness potion. This will make you move twice as fast as normal for half an hour.
[And the next is long and thin again, and the liquid inside is ochre.] This one is a potion of curing. It should get rid of most nasty stings and bites, but if you're bitten by the white serpent, do not use this. It won't work! There's a very special cure for that and nothing else will work.
[She sets down the curing potion and lifts up a squarish bottle.] This one is an elixir of greater defense. It'll make you take less damage from attacks sent your way for one hour.
[Finally, she picks up a red vial and a bright blue vial. She holds up the red one.] This is a greater healing potion. Use it for anything up to small breaks. And this, [She holds up the blue one,] is a greater mana potion. It'll replenish magical energy.
[She sets them down beside the others, and smiles again.] I've got about twenty of each. If you think they'll be useful, please come in and take them! If you could leave your name on the ledger so I know who took them, that would be great!
Well, that's it from me. [She laughs.] I've talked enough for now! Good luck, everyone.
[She turns the feed off.]
