There's really no wikipedia or source I can find that has sufficient info, so I'll write it out for you~ 8D
Not much is known about Suoh's life before he entered the second grade, where he met the Elementary Division's President; Imonoyama Nokoru, who was in the third grade. At first, Suoh thought that he disliked the president, although he wasn't sure why and even questioned his mother about it, but never really got an answer to his bizarre dislike for the other boy. However, this all changed when something completely epic happened on their way to have some ice cream together. A kidnapping attempt was committed onto the president, resulting in the both of them being knocked unconscious and brought to their evil lair-- er, facility. Suoh woke up later, finding himself in a locked room, in handcuffs and was considered as one of the hostages in the kidnapping scenario.
After managing to escape from the room and overpower the guards surrounding it, Suoh quickly uncovered where Nokoru was being held and thus their grand escape began. Said grand escape was quite exciting and adventurous, and after an encounter with one of Nokoru's lovely ideas (a mini penguin homing device that calls out... you guessed it, a giant penguin blimp) the two managed to fly away from their kidnappers on their getaway vehicle/floating transportation. After this interesting day of school, Suoh made one of the biggest choices he would have to make as a Takamura: the decision of who would be his One; the person he would protect for the rest of his life... and the person he chose was Mr. president himself; Nokoru.
The information that is known on Suoh's family is rather limited, and the ony thing that is certain is that he has a mother. Suoh's mother is usually very calm and serene, much like Suoh himself. Yet, during pretty inappropriate moments, she has the tendency to chuck random poison darts at him whenever she has the chance. This is what she calls "training". On that note, Suoh is in a very long, prestigious line of ninjas under the surname of Takamura, and he himself is the current the heir to the clan.
Personality:
Suoh is the calm and practical one of the trio, and is very much a no nonsense kind of person. He strongly believes in work before play, and he will go to great lengths, even tying Nokoru to his desk, to get work done. It's a good thing he's a fast, diligent, hard worker himself because he's constantly having to put up with people who don't fit that same description. After his own work is done, Suoh gets to spend his free time making sure other people's is done. Sometimes, his constant need for order and logic is enough to drive the other detectives a little crazy. Ultimately though, Suoh probably is what keeps the CLAMP School Detectives running smoothly, and without...much problem.
Even if once and a while his two best friends can hand him some real trouble and he gets frustrated with all their antics, he really is a serene person. Suoh puts up a very strong, calm front and almost nothing phases him. He confronts every problem with sureness and a plan and doesn't freak out when something doesn't go according to that plan. He may show some frustration, but he never let's that get in the ways of fixing the problem and he gets right back to the drawing board and revises his plan.
Even though Suoh is so different from the other people that he works with, there are two traits that he shares with both of them. One, is that is he a genius. He has been at the top of his class since he started school, and he is also always been in the most advanced class for his grade. His mind is very sharp and, even though he likes to have a plan, he is also able to think on his feet. The other trait he shares with Nokoru and Akira is his feminism. He will go to great lengths to protect or help a woman in need, and that's even the whole point of the CLAMP School Detectives.
The last of Suoh's notable traits is his loyalty and devotion. As a ninja, he was taught that being loyal to those you promise to protect is more important than any other thing, and in Suoh's case, that means he is loyal to Nokoru. He would give his life if it was to protect Nokoru's, though he's competent enough that he wouldn't have to. Another thing he is strongly devoted to is his ninja training. He almost never misses practice and when he does, it's due to something very important. When something is important to Suoh, he'll go to great lengths to protect it, or do what he needs to.
Strengths:
Suoh's greatest strength is easily his physical state. For a person of his age, he is tall and incredibly well built, due to years and years of intense training. He is very, VERY advanced in the martial arts, as is required for a Takamura ninja, but even as a ninja in his clan, he is elite. By the time Suoh was only a second grade student, he had already earned his 3rd dan blackbelt in Karate, Judo, Aikido, and Kendo and apperantly the only reason he stopped, was that not even the instructors were at a level that was a challenge for Suoh to beat.
Suoh's stubborn personality can also be considered one of his strengths, because it enables him to be unwavering in his opinions. This is an especially handy trait to have around Nokoru, because without Suoh around to lay a firm hand down on his shoulder and keep him in line (or as much as it is possible for someone like Nokoru to be in line), Nokoru would be absolutely drowned in all of his paperwork. Suoh is quite clever and knows Nokoru like the back of his hand, and this enables him to quickly catch any of Nokoru's stunts, and give the kid the death glare so he'll go back to his desk and get at least some documents finished.
Weaknesses:
Suoh is, all around, a rather strong person, physically, mentally and emotionally and does not have many weaknesses. Physically his only weakness is his size because, even though he's tall for his age, he is not a six foot giant. His main weakness lies in his emotions though. Suoh is a very reserved person, and thus has a hard time talking about his emotions. No matter how close he is to a person, usually the most he'll be able to squeeze out in the way of telling them he cares is something along the lines of "You're important to me." in a somewhat monotone.
