I'm fairly sure that it's a done deal, so I'll concede now.
It's been a long and drawn out campaign, but now it's finally over. Come January, you will finally have back what you want. An all democrat government. House, White House, and more than likely (thanks to that comedian, Al Franken), Senate. You had this 8+ years ago and now you will have it again. I hope you are all happy right now, and I can only hope that you will still be so, 4 years from now. Admittedly, the country really does need that kind of stability at this point. I do however have my doubts, but I will sit back and observe with an unbiased mind. I will be pulling for you, democrats, and that's not sarcasm either. It's bonifide sincerity. Good luck, and may America bounce back. However, to be clear...I will NOT do what you did beginning 8 years ago as well. I will instead, give him a chance and a fair shake. I will NOT begin BASHING him even beFORE he moves into the White House. As I remember "fondly" had been done to the incumbent by you and our neighbors to the north. It is also my hope that President Obama will not have to deal with all the turmoil and adversity that the incumbent was forced to deal with not ONLY at the beginning of his first term, but the beginning of his SECOND term as well. At least the new leader will not have to fight an unfriendly legislature either...lucky him.
