Hurricane Katrina sucked
There's no traffic lights
Trees are down everywhere.
My backyard is dead.
My tree killed my shed [thank god my dog wasn't under it]
I have no power in my house, so I am at my cousin's.
And they said it wouldn't hit us directly, well it did!
And we were not prepared at all.
Hopefully the power to my house comes back between today or tomorrow.
I'm worried about some of my friends don't pick up the phone!
In the morning the whole neighborhood was hacking away at one of the trees that landed in the middle of the street.
-We have to call the insurance company for the leaks and the tree uprooting our concrete and destroying our shed... but it wasn't a shed like you buy at home depot it was like a house type thing with no walls and we had all our holiday gatherings under it and my dog lived under it and now it's gone :(
