I was going to do this earlier when everyone else was doing them, but I decided to wait for October because as of this month I've been RPing at CFUD for an entire year. /o/
IN CHARACTER: Breeze is really stressed out but trying to act like she can handle everything because she's awesome. When she first got to Camp she was so surprised to see adults and older, more capable teenagers who acted like they wanted to protect her and include her that she kind of... let herself hope that things really would get better and she didn't have to take care of herself as much. But lately she's been realizing that things will never get better and so she's determined to just deal with everything on her own and stop asking for help. At all, ever. She feels let down, so she's beating herself up for trusting people. Right now taking care of herself (and by extention, Jack) is her top priority, and she feels a lot more comfortable around the other kids in Camp (Vanya, Mindy, Molly, Jack, Tavros, etc) than around the older teenagers and adults she knows, which is a switch from the way things were up until recently.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I knew when I apped her that Breeze would probably be my primary and that hasn't really changed... at all... I just find her really easy to play and her voice comes very easily to me, so if I have multiple characters out and I start getting tired or not feeling it, she's probably the character I'll continue tagging with even if I drop other threads. I went through a period not long ago where I was kind of unsure about the direction I'd taken her, buuut I've kind of gotten over that through being able to steer her back in a direction I feel is closer to the way her character should be. Having a castmate show up helped too. So! Right now I feel good about her again. Just wish I didn't have to wait six months for new canon. :'(

IN CHARACTER: Sophie-Anne is chill with Camp. There are hot girls to look at and get to second base with, and a multitude of people to flirt and play with. She's beginning to feel a lot more comfortable with her position there even though she doesn't have her usual amount of authority (or a proper mansion). Considering the point in canon she's from, being in Camp is like a vacation from all of her problems. She's also smug because Jessica is in Camp but Bill isn't, leaving her a multitude of opportunities to influence a babyvamp without having BORING, MONOGAMOUS BILL around to ruin their lives. So for now, she's definitely content with creeping on Hanna and flirting with Emily and Santana and bossing Jessica around.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I feel a lot better about playing her lately than I did when I first apped. Apping her was very spontaneous on my part and then when I started tagging around with her I got freaked out because a lot of people seemed to want to play with her and I was like "oh man I cannot keep this up." Buuut some time went by and I told myself to get over it, and magically, I felt a lot less pressure. I need to canon review again soon (which isn't hard so idk why I'm putting it off aside from "lol true blood"), but for right now I seem to be playing her at least once a week and that's a good pace for me with her. Tagging with her takes an energy that I can lose easily, but I'm aware of how terrible I've been with dropping her threads and I'm going to be making an effort to pick things up with her from now on.br>

IN CHARACTER: Santo is... Santo. He'll always be pretty go-along as long as he has his friends and they're safeish. He's totally weirded out by the fact that it's a zombie summer camp that also happens to be a farm, but hey. There's a mutantcabin! And Guthrie is alive again! And Vic and Julian and Cess are there! And Jubilee isn't a vampire! And the Professor has hair! There are so many things to see and people to talk to. He's pretty new, so there are still a lot of horrible things he needs to be introduced to, but for now he's having fun meeting people and exploring.
OUT OF CHARACTER: LOL COMICS. I was hesitant to app from Marvel because keeping up with comics and continuity and Marvel particularly has so much going on! So obviously the solution was to app someone who's kind of dumb. That way I can mess up and it's still probably IC because... it's Santo! Anyway, I'm super excited to play him. I love my mutantcast and I'm enjoying throwing him at everyone and having him meet new people. October is a weird month for a new character, but having a big cast has been very helpful with getting him adjusted. I'mmm a little iffy about character voice, but it's mostly just new character jitters, so it's not a huge deal.

tl;dr No one is getting dropped anytime soon. I have a tentative app plan for the future but it's not anything I feel urgent about, so who knows.
