Wizard of Phlegm
So the Wizard of Oz came and went.
It was not half bad.
We killed the max number of people to ever attend a fairfax high school show, killed it dead. I think the record was like 1,600 something, yeah we definately had 2,700 something. So that's exciting.
It went tons better than I thought it would too, we stepped it up at the last minute and made a kick ass show, it was pretty nifty.
I do think my performances declined in goodness as the shows went by but, oh well. I think that's because I was getting sick, I definately had a 103 degree temperature last night, but now that's mystically dissapeared, go figure.
Anyway, now all I'm left with the specialness that is a sore throat, stuffy nose and a head-ache, happy happy joy joy.
Next year we're doing the musical Secret Garden and I've decided I definately want the part of Lily, who is a high soprano. But I looked up the music on Limewire (I <3 Limewire) instead of doing h/w like I was supposed to during my sick day and I can sing it all, even with my stuffy nose, so there is hope!
