So it’s actually over. The highlight of my summer, what I started looking forward to some 2 months before it actually began, is over. And now there’s this empty .... chaaaaaaaaasm, haha. It’s so weird though, I have absolutely no idea what I’m going to do with myself. It’s true that I’m keeping in touch with most people via aim (I can’t believe last night I told Mallary I’m gonna start spending less time on it, like that would EVER happen, anyway) but I still won’t be seeing you all everyday and I’m seriously numb about it, I don’t think it’s completely hit me. Ok, now, because lord knows I wasn’t being dramatic about this enough as it is, I’m gonna go down the list and address people I feel... need to be addressed.
Actually, I will NOT be going down the list because that seems to have been misplaced, well, I hope my memory won’t fail me at least.
So now, in no particular order.....
Anna: I know you me, Mallary, Jennifer and Will already sorta did this but I feel it necessary to do it again. You tap dance like no other and have this gorgeous unique voice to boot. Always remember: Like viagra he renews the vigor of thy youth. I love talking to you online about.... girly things. You’re so much fun to be around and I really hope the demented plans we were sorta making will work out b/c that’d just be AWESOME.
Jennifer: I’m so glad you did IFTA and were in my playwriting class. I remember meeting you last year and hoping you were in it this year because you seemed like a cool person. And you were in it this year and, as my mom said on the way back from where we were this morning “I think that Jennifer girl did a really excellent job, her voice was so good for her part.” And I whole heartily agree.
Cameron: I can’t believe you’re 13, that’s just so weird. You’re a lot of fun to hang out with though, even if you do practically have a brain hemorrhage every time Keegan or I start to sing (which is pretty much every 15 seconds). You’re a cool guy and I hope what you’ve been badgering me about the entire day today works out for you because that’d be pretty cool.
Keegan: Even though I knew of your existence long before, this summer is the first time we actually hung out and really started talking to each other. I will never forget to be wary of evil straight lines and parking lots. Working on the set was a lot of fun and I can’t wait for Sussical. Jeewon tells me I should tell you I want to have your babies but I think that’s a slight over statement. I’m pretty sure I’ll be seeing you around so that’s cool at least.
Yuna: I’m so glad I met you in Cappies, this summer was awesome. Carpooling and that really random sleepover I was so sure I wouldn’t be able to attend was so much fun. You have a beautiful voice and really did an excelletn job acting in your first show. Thank you for teaching me that cool version of Amazing Grace b/c there certainly aren’t enough random bits of songs running around in my head and I DEFINITELY needed another one :P. And I will be getting you your Naruto DVD’s back to you and a copy of the performance.
Will: Haha, you’re a funny guy. You just like rolling in and flopping over on the floor so Jesus could read your foot cracked me up, oh, also when you were carrying Steven around on your back. And I think your art is so interesting, I love looking at it, so you should definitely keep that up and good luck with your T-shirt contest thing.
Mallary: I can’t begin to thank you for all rides you supplied me with, I wouldn’t have been able to attend half the things I did if it weren’t for you. And thank you for listening to me complain all the time online about stuff, ESPECIALLY with the nature of the stuff being complained about, I’m sure that was sorta disturbing. And I love reading your rants, they’re not really that long at all. You are a REAL triple threat, and what’s going on know with certain things is going to be fun.
Jeewon: You’ll always be ugly Jesus to me :P. You’re a funny guy too and you did a spectacular job as playing your role. Like Blake, I was wondering “so who’s this guy playing Jesus?” but then I met you and you were pretty cool so it was all good. I’m so glad you finally got to meet my mom, I know it’s been a goal of yours, haha. (“Jeewon in a box” still resides in my garage).
Stephen: You have the most trouble with things that you shouldn’t have, I think you know what I’m talking about. You did an excellent job singing Prepare Ye the Way of Jeewon and the prodigal son thing was so funny. People clapped at the end of it I think all but one night. And that night didn’t count. Anyway, I have so much fun talking to you until obscene hours in the morning about God knows what.
Julia: Thank you so much for that card, I really appreciate it. You’re such a sweet person and you tap dance so well. You and Anna should make some show together. We had fun with our lovely addition to “We Beseech Thee” I’m sure no one’s hearing is exactly the same after that.
Blake: Sitting with you and Alison and Julia at IFTA was so much fun. I’m really sad you won’t be able to do it next year. The play was fun though and it was great trying to play my kazoo part over your monologue during “All Good Chairs” at brush up. You’re an excellent actor and I look forward to seeing you in shows next year at Madison.
Billy: OH MY GOSH, IF YOU EVER COME NEAR ME WITH AGAIN WHILE I’M TRYING TO HOLD A CONVERSATION ON A CELL PHONE I’LL- ahem. I mean, it was fun working with you this year, aren’t you glad you never had to come get me at my house, especially with Stephen navigating with an upside down map?
Well that wasn’t depressing at all >_
