Hate is a strong word
Isaac Asimov is a brilliant writer. I must admit that after reading Foundation, I thought it was merely a smaller version of Dune. However, I just completed the entire Foundation series, and I must say that it is quite possibly the best series of books that I've ever read.
Granted, the Dune series is amazing and has a grandeur all its own. However, the Foundation books have brilliant cohesion and toyed with my emotions in a way that Dune couldn't. It was amazing.
