Push the little baby down the....

How incredibly appropriate. I last posted on this blog almost exactly one year ago. How things have changed. Sort of.

I'm still in California. I live with Kale in our own mobile home we rent. It's the one I mentioned in the previous journal. I have been working for GEICO for the past year. I am actually going to be looking for a new job now. It's tough there and I am really unhappy. I'm  a bit nervous as I have never quit a job like this and not had a plan of action. C'est la vie.

We have a kitty named Nora. She's very sweet and we love her. Kale is working on a project for her right now. We call it Project Long Cat. It's a kitty tree. lol We also have a fish tank with way too many fish. Our original 5 fish had babies and now there's around 12 fish in our 10 gallon. We're looking into giving away some to Kale's grandma. Poor fish.

I still collect ponies, although it's very much on the backburner right now. We just made our first large purchase together. A couch. A very nice couch. Very comfortable and cushy. <3 it.

Around Oct. last year my grandmother passed away. So I went back to Kansas for the funeral. That was very tough, but comforting as she is no longer in pain.

I guess I don't have anything else to say. My degree is almost completely non-useful, and I haven't written any stories, poems, lyrics...anything until today, doing this. I guess I just don't feel compelled to. =(

Oh well. C'est la vie...again. lol
