well, way i figure is that the only way this is ever going to get updated is if i do it in sections. so this post is all about:
PETS!
i shall try to go in chronological order...
well first off, in a true moment of not-well-thought-through passion...i bought a ferret. his name is ziggy stardust and he's rather stinky...but SHO CYOOT! i've had him about a month, i think...
he rolls natural 20s.
biggest pet story i suppose is when i found out that my baby murphy (that i've had since i was an itty bitty girl) had to be put to sleep because her kidneys were all-but almost totally failing. i still cry when i think about it...so i try not to. i wish i could've seen her one last time...*cries*
though in the meantime, the last little kitten from outside (the ones that i played with all summer) has been brought into the house and become my new kitty. his name is bill, though i always end up calling him "'ittle bill" and he's silly. cute little kitty. he'll never replace murphy, but he's doing a good job of being sweet and needy and always wanting to be on my lap when i'm at home.
annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd while i was home for the two weeks between summer school and fall semester, i left my two fish (simon and hans) with josh since i was going to be traveling. simon died during his stay at josh's...i don't blame josh (though i like to claim i do) cause simon was getting old by beta-fish-standards.
so even though hans hated simon (and everyone in general), i went ahead and got another beta fish yesterday...a blue one that i named "vergil" (from devil may cry 3) with the thought that when hans kicks the bucket (as they all do after a not-so-long-amount-of-time), i'll get a red fish and name it "dante." lo and behold my utter surprise this morning when i went to feed hans and OMFGWTFHE'SDEAD!!!!!!! i was like "i'm so sorry hans! i didn't mean that you had to die now!" and was very sad for hans was the prettiest fish i've ever had.
so next i turn and feed vergil and say "well vergil, i guess i can get your brother now" and OMFGWTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!!? VERGIL WAS DEAD TOO!!!!!!! I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD HIM 24 HOURS!!!!!!! am distraught and today is proving to suck the big one. now i have two dead fish on my desk cause i can't decide how to get them out of the bowls without reaching in and picking them up with my hand like i normally do when i clean their bowls. so.not.cool.
soooooo yeah, i suppose i should make an attempt to send the dead fishies to their watery graves. at least ziggy is still alive.......for now.......*cries*
