procrasti-matastic
I went to a Canadian Cancer Society breakfast this morning with the supervisor. It was fine except I still sound and feel as if I have some awful combination of TB and infected sinuses. schmooze schmooze snot snot. there was free food AND stuff, though, so it was a grad student delight (waffles and a pen! I'll get up at 6 and go downtown for that!).
now I'm off to the library to re-visit the cursed journal club that I weaseled out of on monday but now have to give next monday instead. I don't want to even think about it anymore. the paper is long, convoluted and dense (nature paper). I should have picked somehting easier. oh well. I say, suck it up yo.
we were supposed to go to dinner tonight at B and S's but they have a fresh baby and I don't want to infect any of them with my head cold du jour (du semaine? is that week in french? yikes...).
am watching buffy like a fiend in the hopes that it cures the snot. I'm watching my way through the first half of season 4 as fast as I can, hoping for some tara/willow action to show up. I don't want to watch it too fast, though, because this is my first time, and you never get a second chance to watch a show all the way through for the first time.
