Today is World Autism Awareness Day! All children are special, but I have been fortunate enough to meet a few wonderful children who are even more special than others. They have autism. Autism is a condition that can affect a child in numerous ways. Among the children I've known was a girl who lived in her own special little world that you could see it in her eyes. I also knew a boy who knew the train arrival and departure times of the whole country, and he could even tell you which train was used to travel the different stretches. Do any of you know a child with autism? Or maybe an adult who is an autist? Share the story and create awareness friends!!
