A day of joy!
Today Norway's government will pass a law for marriage on equal rights for gay and straight couples! I am so so so pleased that this is happening!!!
The law says that gay people should have the same right to enter a marriage as straight people. Gay couples will also get the opportunity to be considered as adoptive parents the same way straight couples are. Lesbian couples will have the same right to be considered for artificial insemination as straight people, AND the church has the RIGHT, not the DUTY, to marry gay couples.
It's a major break through, and I support it fully!!!
