i've got the opposite take on that... i think if you've been truly, madly and deeply in love the chances of finding it again are slimmer. i mean what are the odds of getting struck by lightening once, let alone twice?

I completely disagree. The odds of finding true true love twice or even three times are greater than you think. With all the people in the world how could you assume there is not another great love out there for you? And how do you know if what you orginally felt is the truest love until you know a different kind?

yes, but in the case of our friend rob here, he doesn't want another kind of love, he wants the exact same thing he had, and therefore i think the odds of finding that are slim.

I know my little brother thinks that way. But I keep hoping he realizes that what he had was not the truest form of love, it was first love. Sometimes they can be one in the same. But when he falls in love again he'll see the diference.
