(no subject)
After a week, I can officially say I don't like my job. I literally am just supposed to stand there and ask people as they go by if they'd like to sign up for a credit card. And if they do, I sign them up...which takes about 2 minutes to do. So far, after working 4 days, adding up to about 25 or so hours, I think I've signed up 8 people. I've had to put stuff people returned away once and occassionally people ask me where things are, and I'm getting better at finding stuff, but really. I do absolutely nothing. It blows.
Went bowling and got a 98. It's officially going on my Things to Do Before I Die list (yes, I do have an actual list) to break 100 while bowling.
I have to register for classes tomorrow. Last time ever...scary. I just need one more bio and one soc class to finish up my major and minor, but still need 4 credits in 300-400 level classes to graduate. So I'm taking an English class that Marissa recommended, and then probably a psych class. I can't believe I'm really going to graduate in a few months. I don't think I'm ready for that.
I've started watching The Office on DVD and it's probably my new favorite show. I need to find the Jim to my Pam. Absolutely adorable. In a heartbreaking kind of way. Of course I just have watched up to the end of season 2 where Jim declares his love to Pam, so I don't know if it gets more adorable, or not so much. I'm hoping for more adorable. Though I don't know how I would feel if one of my best friends basically declared their undying love to me. As horribly awkward and uncomfortable as it might be, at the same time it must on some level be nice to know that someone thinks that much of you and loves you more than anything. Oh love...what a fucked up thing.
On that note - I just found out another one of my friends is engaged. Yikes. It still amazes me that we really are adults. None of my somewhat good friends have had a baby yet, so I guess that's something at least. I think that'll really burst my whole immature college student just having fun kind of bubble.
