So...I'm 22 now...
Not really sure how I feel about this. I know it's really not that different than how old I was a week ago, with just a new number, but it still seems really old to me. I think I just figured that by this point and age I would have more of my life together and I really don't. Been thinking a lot about that whole idea and what I want and stuff like that. Might get into that a different day though...
So my trip to lax this past weekend was nice. Really didn't get to see a whole lot of people, but I'm ok with that. Once I actually got there, I was in a pretty anti-social mood. Not that I didn't want to be around people so much as I just wanted some time to myself to get things moved in and just relax. Hung out with Lynnay and Ben a little bit and went dt with them saturday night. On the way there stopped in Madison to see Chris and get dinner which was cool. Even if he does refer to me by racial slurs and calls me fat, he's still a pretty kickin' rad brother. All in all, it was a pretty chill weekend. Didn't do anything for my actual birthday besides going out to eat with my mom. That was really because I really wasn't in a mood to hang out with my Franklin friends. It just seems like I've changed so much in the past 2 or so years and we really don't have a whole lot in common anymore. I know that doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing, but it's just tedious to do the same things and talk about the same things over and over.
Work's going alright. I talked to Karen for a little bit today and we actually had a somewhat decent conversation. I know she doesn't like me, but I think this is the first real time we've actually talked. And I really don't plan on messing around when I'm in charge, so I won't give her any reason to yell about that, so maybe by the end of the year I can get on her good side. Surprisingly, Ben and I are getting along really well which is beyond nice. I thought we were going to be at each other's throat's all summer, but he's really impressing me and actually seems to know his stuff this year. Overall I have a pretty cool crew and we seem to be getting along really well.
