I took my film camera to England, and Robert used his digital. We got all of my 12 films developed within a week or so of returning, and last week, we sat down with the 300 photos and the laptop, and went through all of the digitals and chose the 250 we actually wanted to print. Now I have to seriously work on my scrapbooks. There will be at least three!
And I have uploaded a new avatar. I think this is my favourite photo from our UK holiday. We drove in heavy rain from Skye until we reached Castle Urquart on the north shore of Loch Ness. We went into the information centre, looked at the artifacts and a 10-12 minute film about the history of the castle and then went outside into brilliant sunshine. And as we climbed up onto the ruins of the castle, there was a rainbow coming down into the middle of the loch.
I hope my technical skills are enough to upload this properly!
