Just want to share a little about some things I learned, I hope someone gets somethin out of it considering I have a bad memory and dont always explain things very good... but have fun reading this, love yah all!
OK so ive went 2 youth group on tues., it was awesome cuz I could relate to the message alot, and took something away from it, BRIEF: feeling abandaned, that ur not alone, even when u feel like life isnt going good, parents leave u, friends move, get mad at u, people dont know what ur going threw, that ur not alone (duh, nice reminder though) but when things go rugh in ur life u cant barrie them, cuz what goes on with u now will effect ur future with ur kids, who u marry, ur acttions to situations, u need to dig deep face everything that is bothering u and that u hide, u need to give it to God, because barrieing things and not showing ur emotions will only bring u down and miserable. and ok just like Jacob when no one believes in u, they laugh in ur face, and stuff u cant give up, but keep doing/saying what u believe!
wed. night BRIEF:well I came in late buthe talked about how u have to have a friend who will be there for u always, who will love u at ur worst and pick u up when needed, he used the example of Ray and him standing together, one fel, but the other was there to pull them along, then a 3rd guy came into the picture, and they all 3 helped each other, and He talked about and how u can say ur christian go to church be all goodie goodie, but if theres one part in ur life were ur falling and ur doing what God dosnt want u to do (make out, not b modest, ... steel) then ur not living a christian life because theres no way u can serve our God and still not want to fight ur urges to do stuff, well im not wording this right but basically, if u love him with all ur heart u wouldnt disrespect him, u have to live a christian life in everything u do!
Sunday BRIEF: went to a show, OMG every band had a good meassage, talked about God, prayed, and worshiped, amazing! DIzmas rocked! like the lead singer basicaly gave a bible study almost... He talked about the 4 gospel, and man... I cant remember what he said it was like 4-5 days ago, but I was blown away from him, and I did take something away from it!! He also did an alter call, it was amazing like 20 kids went back, I was so happy that night, I was able to have fun, meet new people, get a little crazy and still worship GOD! : ) oh and my cousin came, my friend Dylan invited him , i brought him and it was awesome since he dosnt go to chruch for him to hear the good word!
