Last night I dreamt that my dad and I were riding in a go-kart through the forest on a fire trail of some sort. The go-kart wasn't ours, and belonged to some nefarious people who I don't remember much about. I do remember that we were trying to get away from them at first, but after a while on the fire trail, zooming around on curves and jumps, we were just having a good time.
My dad was driving and he didn't say much, but I could see he was enjoying himself. We must have driven a long ways, for I saw makeshift-signs every now and then indicating some great distance (for a go-kart) like 5 (or was it 50?) miles.
Eventually we ended up on the CI Campus, ending up coming out of old McKinny Road. We ditched the go-kart and hopped the fence to the farmer's field that was next to us. I suppose we intended to run across the field to the highway, and escape (indicating we remembered we were escaping from those nefarious types). Here another guy was added to my dream; I don't remember who he was except that he was my age and a friend who was also running.
As we jumped into the field and ran, we began hearing barking, and saw a big dog running torwards us. Naturally we turned heel back where we came from.

The owner of the house must have heard the dog, for he came outside and told the dog to stop, then invited us inside.
The house, though nothing special on the outside, was beautiful and cozy on the inside. I just remember it had a lot of real wood everywhere.
The man himself was great fat man with a long white beard. He was very pleasant and offered us food and water. We could hear kids screaming in delight throughout the houe and he indicated he had something like 13 children, and how much he loved them all.
He gave us advise (which I don't remember) and I found myself drawn to him. I followed him everywherre throughout his house, just talking with him.
The time came to leave (with the element of escape) and I was sorry to leave him. Here I woke up, and I know nothing more about the dream.
