(no subject)
I hate the generic conversation that follows:
Oh! I cant believe you're going to [insert any school name], I have a really good friend going there too. Do you know [insert name of obscure friend]?
99 out of 100 times the answer will be no and even if it was yes, what kind of conversation is this?
-"oh yeah, I think I might have met them at orientation..."
-"cool"
Then you move on to other mindless topics about your school, your major and after half an hour of elevator chatter, you realize that you have neither remembered their name nor really learned anything about them.
Ok - you got me - Im not a people person.
