Pratt, Emerson, UNO, Ohio and so on. I have to pay for school all by my lonesome, though. And living. And so on.

welcome to my world man. the way I see it though, education is a good investment. dont worry about it. you can defer all your loans for up to 40 years. you just pay more interest.

Point taken. I'm hoping not to take out many loans due to UNO and the cost of living in New Orleans being so cheap.

school and rent being cheap are the big plus'. jobs are plentyful. the city is amazing (architecture. the people. the night life. the everything). california is horrible. and i've lived here going on 23 years. it's time for a change of scenery.

if you are just transferring credits, you'll have at least two years of study. thats enough time to go travel and check things out. try to study abroad- most of it ends up being the same price as a semester!

The credits I obtained at Orange Coast aren't in the same field. Very little would even apply so I am starting from scratch. The main reason behind that choice is that during my Orange Coast term I was gone half the time on tour thus my grades weren't the greatest. I'd rather start fresh, ya dig?
