Moved back home today. Took from the time I got home at... 8ish? Till about 4 AM to get all my stuff exactly like I want it, but now it's done and I'm quite pleased with myself. My room is perfect, the rats are getting used to being here, and Scott (my hampster, who stayed at home when I went to school) is getting used to having them here. It was so cute, I introduced him to Renji and he was like... "WTF A RLY LIL 1!!!1!" And then she burrowed underneath him for warmth. He was sooo confused, and she's young enough that she was just oblivious. I seriously think she's probably about three weeks old. Soo tiny!
Also, books are taking over my room. My bookshelf has two doublestacked shelves, then a stack beside it on the floor that's as tall as the shelf, several book on top of it, and then I have all my books I took to school on my desk, PLUS the textbooks that are stashed under my bed, and when I thought I'd finally found a place for all of them, I found MORE in a laundry basket I'd packed with stuff I bought at a yard sale. As much as I love books... I think I'd better sell some! Maybe all those dumb devotional books that my parents have given me because I'm too timid to tell them I'll never use the silly things. Anybody want some?
So, I was going to take an Intermediate French Grammar course during June, as an Independent Study over email... So I got the book from the professor today, and then went online to register when I got home... and of course I'm missing some prerequisite or something, or I need to take a placement test... and I'm not going back to the school again till August if I can help it. grrrr. Maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't try to be Chick-fil-a's closing manager and do online classes at the same time? I was kind of uncertain about my ability to do both, but... oh well. Maybe my prof will magically come to the rescue and find a way to register me... or maybe I will take a test for it. I don't know. I was kind of excited about it, I think.
K, so there's my update on life. Hurray!
