Pay It Forward:

Jan 11, 2009 09:00

I've been so bad about keeping up with you all, and I feel guilty, so when I saw hesadevil's 'pay it forward' offer, I jumped at it.

I'm going to give you stuff!

At least the first 5 of you to respond. Here's the deal:

Pay It Forward: I will send a handmade gift to the first 5 people who leave a comment here on my LJ. The gift could be anything, but ( Read more... )

You don't have to send me a gift, but I wanted to say I love your icon. I'm a sucker for dapple-gray horses anyway, and that's just a cute picture.

Thank you! It's taken from one of the ACEO's I sold at the craft show.

If you want a gift, I do you an ATC with a similar picture. I can't do one exactly the same because this was done on scratchboard, and my supplier is currently out *wah*

Or alternatively, you could go out to my Flickr site and see if there is anything you like.

I'll have to get back to you on that offer. I clicked the link, but my dial-up is being stupid about loading the pictures, so I'll have to take the laptop down to the library and try it again using the library's wi-fi.

OK, I finally got back to the library with the computer in tow, and got a look at your artwork. Very impressive! They're all so beautiful, and far too nice to just give away. How large are they? Etching-size? Larger?

With the exception of the ones marked 5x7 or 8x10, they are all 2.5x3.5 inches--trading card size. I trade these with other people who make the same size card (ATC-art trading cards).

Please, feel free to choose any of the cards in the available set (though I'm trading constantly, so the sooner the better!).

Or, if you like surprises, I can do a new one and send it to you.

OK, it would probably help if you had an address to send things to. Let me know your preferred e-mail address (you can send it to silvrethorn(at)yahoo.com if you don't want it visible as a reply here) and I will e-mail you my mailing address.

OK, I've looked, pondered, looked again and made a decision. If it's still available, I'd like Moody Alley. I think it would look perfect inset into the cover of one of my hand-bound books, so it would be art generating art, in a manner of speaking. The book would be for my own personal collection, not for sale, and I will definitely send you a photo of the finished work so you can see what became of something you spent so much time and thought on. Let me know if I need to make a second choice, though. Moody Alley is definitely my favorite, but if it's gone, there are others I like as well.
