Today I have to wonder if it is was worth getting out of bed.
The bank has changed their policies, and instead of doing the nice thing and letting it's customers know they are just going to bend me over. Of course I still have to go into the branch and discuss this all on Tuesday because they do not have a single person in the branch that is authorized to help with anything when the manager is out. That ought to be a lovely place to start the conversation: Sir, don't you think there is something wrong with a business that can not help it's customers unless you are present, then let's you leave for vacation? What are your customers supposed to if they have a financial crisis while you are out? Ask everyone if they can just wait on getting paid until you come back? Well, let me tell you, so far that hasn't worked that well for me.
I called the Ohio BMV to take care of some stuff, being out of state complicates everything, only to find out that something I don't even remember happening is on my record. It appeared there in May, about 5 months After I last spoke with them and they assured me that my record was now as neat and tidy as it should be. Apparantly Vandalia, OH has Just put their records of some occurence that took place sometime in 95 into the database. Now I can either go to court, or fax in a Guilty Plea and see if they will take that. I don't even know what I am pleading guilty to, but if they will give me a $$$$ amount I will happily give them my cash so I will never have to know where Vandalia, OH is :)
Let's move right along to the scary electrical situation; the lights are flickering in about 1/2 of my townhouse, including the half with the fridge, stove, and microwave. This has actually been the easiest to deal with, I have to tell you that Kentucky Utilities has been pleasant to work with so far and assures me that someone will be here this evening to take care of the situation. They could be the light at the end of the tunnel for me today.
Why is it these things alway's come in three's? Maybe the Wiccans are right :/
