Captain.

When you have a moment, I have something very urgent to discuss with you.

Yes, Iroh? What is it?

I have an.. acquaintance who requires a safe place to lay low for a while. He is injured, but I believe still able to work.

Would you consider offering him a position on the Convoy? Or, at the very least, allowing him to stay aboard for a while?

What happened to him?

As far as I can tell, he witnessed something he should not have and someone decided he should be killed for it.

I am rather unsettled by the implications, actually.

Hmmm. Then you can tell him he's welcome aboard for as long as he needs a place to stay. Working won't be necessary, at least not until he's repaired.

Thank you, Captain.

But if he's anything like me, he'll probably want something useful to do. But perhaps he can discuss that with you directly.

I'll discuss it with him once he's fully functional. How bad is the damage?

My contacts inform me he was found very badly injured and close to death. He has been healed to the best of my contact's ability, but... he is also missing an arm.

We'll have to give him a new one, then. What is the usual practice among organics when it comes to replacement parts?

...Captain, I'm afraid it isn't that simple for us. Limbs cannot usually be simply replaced.
