I feel like I have so much to write about, not that any of it is all that important or entertaining...

I finished the 6th Harry Potter (did I post about this already?). I think it was my favorite so far. The 5th was my least favorite. Im waiting for "Rules for Saying Goodbye" to come in to the library, and thought I'd read "Sam's Letters to Jennifer" by James Patterson while I waited... but I read it in one day, almost in one gulp! It was okay, not as good as "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" or his Women's Murder Club series but not bad. And when I was out this weekend I finally broke down and bought "Twilight". I keep seeing/hearing so much about it, Im intrigued. Im only on the first chapter, so it's obviously not "amazing" yet, but I'll let you know. ;) I also bought "Lean, Mean Thirteen" by Janet Evanovich. I love her Stephanie Plum series.

Mike and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner yesterday, then Walmart (to purchase movie snacks to smuggle in) and the most embarrassing thing happened when we were walking out. I totally lost my footing in the parking lot (I have really bad ankles), my left ankle like rolled and popped and I seriously thought I was going down. I mean, major face plant in the Walmart parking lot. I flailed like I was preparing for flight and luckily Mike grabbed me. But oh my... my ankle is so messed up, all swollen and bruised, and my shoulder is out of whack from flailing. I was trying not to cry because it hurt to bad and I was so embarrassed. No one saw but Mike... but he's the only one whose opinion I care about! lol Unfortunately, I will never be this graceful put-together woman. I'll always be clumsy, I'll always spill stuff on my shirt, etc. *sigh*

We went to the movies after that and saw WALL-E... go see it! It was so darn cute. Its really cool how there is so little talking and the animation is really awesome, especially the "space" scenes. And its adorable. Just go see it!

Today I went to the mall with my sister and dad. It was nice to have a little family time before he leaves to meet my mom in California. I spent money though, which was bad. I got a couple pairs of dress pants - they were only $3.75 a pair, can you believe that!? And I got a really cute dress. Who knows when I'll wear that, but I did make Katie and Amanda set aside the 18th so we can do something for my birthday, so maybe then. We had dinner at Fire Mountain, its this huge buffet place (similar to Ryan's or Olde Country Buffet). Yuck. It wasnt very good (I dont like buffets to begin with) and it just seemed like all the nasty people of Beaver County were having their Sunday dinner there. (so Im a snob, whatever) It was nice to spend time with my Sophie and my dad though.

I haven't been eating all that great lately, but I have been doing SO great getting more active. I've been staying on the treadmill longer and longer every time and Im starting to actually LIKE it! I can't believe how much more active I am this summer - more than I ever was before (and its still not even as much as I want it to be!).

I have an interview on the 8th at Fashion Bug. Im kind of looking forward to it because I know I'll get the job, I can use the money and its really close to my house. But... the summer is already half over... I dont want to be working when school starts, but I hate to quit after two months. We'll see what happens I guess.

Speaking of school, Im all registered for fall! Im taking: Spanish, Industrial and Organizational Psych, Statistics in Psych (eek!) and Leadership in the Workplace. Im way too excited - I want my books so I can start reading now!

I hope this week goes fast, the Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, and Food Festival (or, to people in the area, simply, "the festival") is Friday Saturday and Sunday, and I am going all three days! I have a list going of what Im going to eat (thats basically the only reason I go!). And fireworks! Oh man, I love fireworks. I love the 4th of July, its my favorite holiday right with Christmas. And after I do my eating at the festival, its back to eating VERY good, so I can look hot in my birthday dress! <3
