I'm bored. Idol doesn't start for another 40 minutes, Mike is at practice, I dont feel like reading because my head hurts, I'm restless and lonely and I want to snuggle. I think I really just want to go to bed. I'm SO tired. Yesterday's god-awful headache exhausted me, and I woke up today with the same headache, AND a cold. I hate waking up in a pool of snot. I just feel worn out.
To pass the time, I think I'll talk about tv. I barely saw the end of The Bachelor last night, but I was really disappointed that he booted Jillian. I wanted her to make it. I think she suits him. Molly (who, imo, is fugly) and Melissa just don't seem ready to settle down with someone who has a kid and I don't see it lasting with either one. Secondly, American Idol. I am so glad that Joanna whatsherface got dropped. I dont think it was fair for her to be in the competition - she had a record deal and a song on the Legally Blonde soundtrack for crying out loud. Just like that Carly Smithson last season. No one with a prior record deal should be allowed on the show. They already had their chance. I can't even talk about Grey's right now. If Izzie and George leave, I dont know if I'll be able to watch. It used to be so much better. Its sad, really. I think Izzie might have a tumor or something.
In other news,
this story was talked about on the radio this morning. First of all, I thought 15 was bad but 13?! And he looks like he is 6 years old!! Jeez-a-loo. They played a clip of a British reporter asking the kid "What will you do financially?" and he replied (in his high-pitched, prepubescent voice) "What's financially?". Omg. Maybe I live in a bubble, but it just shocked and disgusted me. And of course, some people will see it as "poor them" and they'll get handouts and live an easy life. Ugh. People.
I read
this article, provided by the lovely
alabasterduch. I'm on the fence. While I think it might be cool to hear Taylor's "solo" (even though it's technically not solo) endeavors, it just wont be HANSON. I dont think its a sign that they are "breaking up" or anything, they are brothers after all. It will definitely be different. That is a pretty eclectic group of guys. They just need to throw in like, 50 Cent and Kenny Chesney and they'll have all their musical bases covered, heh. jk. If it's even true. I have a feeling maybe it is, although I usually refuse to believe anything about them until they announce it themselves. Especially the "bad" stuff. I just can't bring myself to believe that one (all?) of them are gay, that they cheat on their wives, that they do coke, etc. Like I said, I live in a bubble. :P
I FINALLY got my contacts today, thank goodness. Ive been without contacts for like a month and I've felt like a major frump.
I want a frozen coke SO BAD. Mmm. Cold, sweet, wet, carbonated goodness. I always crave them when I have a cold. Maybe my sometimes thoughtful fiancé will bring me one tomorrow. :) Speaking of whom. His birthday is in a month and I have no idea what to get him. Its getting to the point where, after 3 years together, its hard to be original! Also, this coming weekend is our Valentine's date. We decided to wait til the weekend after to beat the crowds. I need some ideas of where to go. We go to the same places all the time and we never leave Cranberry. If my Pittsburgh friends could throw out some suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
Ok, well this took up a whole 20 minutes... I think I'll go read for a little bit before Idol.
PS. Has anyone read "The Secret"?
