this life, it wears me down...
so, because i was waiting to tell the world my secrets, until they were complete, here it is, for all of you who don't talk to alex:
this little girl is going to basic on 25 OCT 2005. reception is a week, and basic is eleven, for some reason. usually it's ten. the only thing i can figure is that christmas makes it a bit longer...i don't know. i'll be at fort jackson for basic (woo hoo south carolina!!) and then i'm going to fort lee as a 92A, something to do with a logistical specialist for quartermastering. not sure EXACTLY what it is, but eh, whatever. it's twelve weeks. there's a week and a half between basic and ait. so, i officially start basic on 04 NOV and i officially start AIT on 24 JAN. there. you do the math.
i'm taking a leave of absence from Kroger starting this saturday, october 8th, which means i'll have about three weeks to move out of my apartamento, get all my army stuff in order, and spend time with everybody. it's kinda exciting and REALLY scary all at the same time. but i think a little time away from here, and a little time cleaning out my body of nicotine, caffeine, and excessive amounts of sugar, as well as really getting myself back in shape mentally and physically will be the best thing for me.
hopefully i'll be starting back to college in the summer then, as i'll miss out on spring semesters and quarters all around...soo...off to do some research and such...
