update!
last thursday- we drove up to dc around 6:30pm and got there at 1:30am!
friday- sara had an interview at american (she got in!), then we took a campus tour and met some people and went to lunch in georgetown with them. georgetown is the most amazing, coolest place ever. i can completely imagine myself at school in dc. we left dc around 5 and got home around 12. crazy traffic.
saturday- i went to the mall with eva. we shopped for awhile and then went to cpk *yum!* and met up with sarajane to see sisterhood of the traveling pants. i really liked it (again!). then eva spent the night at my house. we watched the simple life, haha.
sunday- i went to the last death penalty forum, and the guest speaker was the person who runs people of faith against the death penalty. he wasn't a terribly effective public speaker, but he did bring up a lot of very good points. later, youth group at cam and morgan's house (they're so rich), where i jumped on the trampoline the whole time with ryan. we took a short break and ate and we all watched our video from passport, which was cute, even though i was NEVER in it. then i went to caroline's with sarajane ("don't make me go just because i have a chin!" random inside joke, so funny, haha), where we watched fried green tomatoes. good movie.
monday- cdpl. went with my mom to meet this 15 year old girl and her mom to talk about stuff. don't think that's going anywhere. worked out with caroline at the new y at the tobacco warehouses. it's soo nice, and it feels like a gym in nyc or something...very exclusive (well, it feels exclusive at least!). ate dinner at the mccraws...salmon burgers (surprising, very good!), sugar snap peas, cantalope, and zucchini. perfect after-workout dinner! very healthy.
today- i played hooky from cdpl and went to lunch with sara and the girl who she nannies (new word?) for, riley. sara says riley can be a total brat, which i'm sure she can, but she's so cute! she calls sara "miss sara," so now i'm "miss cristina."
tomorrow- packing! ick. dinner at church then spending the night at sara's, so she can take me to the airport in the morning.
