(no subject)
so last night everyone came to my house and we partied like nobody's business, haha. there was like...40? 50? people (i suck at estimating!) and everyone talked and ate and had a good time! i had to play hostess, which i love, but i never really got a chance to actually talk to anyone. this girl named eva came, bc her mom is gonna be in mom's esl class, and she was so sweet! she's 15 too, and she's from germany! she's so nice and soo pretty. she's coming to church with me tomorrow so sarajane and i are going to introduce her to everyone she didn't already meet. we might go to the mall before dinner though, bc i need to go buy a dress for amy's wedding party this weekend. back to the cookout: everyone hung out on the deck, some inside, and then everyone (all the teens, at least!) came into my room. at one point, there were like 12 teens crowded in my room listening to music and [slightly illegally] exchanging songs for our ipods. we also went out back and played ultimate frisbee for a little bit..i'm getting even better, haha!
then sarajane and caroline spent the night. we all sat around the table and drank daiquiris (virgin, of course!) and ate chips and dip and played skip bo with my mom for awhile. my mom loves all my friends, haha. then...we made invitations for this party, which turned out hilarious. we were being too loud and my mom got mad :( anyway, then we watched miss congeniality and went to bed at like 3.

ooh, and i start my internship tomorrow!
