(no subject)
Friday- I went shopping to get beach stuff! Then I saw "The Interpreter." I hung out alone here at night, because for various reasons all my plans (prom, party, sleepover) fell through.
Saturday- Nur and my mom and I went to Stock Exchange (designer consignment store), because it was the 20th anniversary sale, so everything was 20% off. There were these two women there giving makeovers, so I ended up getting really pretty makeup done. Apparently, I have amazing skin and perfect cheekbones, haha. I bought this gorgeous shirt. It's teal-ish turquoise-ish, really low cut with a huge beaded brooch. Maybe I'll post pictures later. Anyway, we were out a long time shopping and everything, and afterwards my mom and I went to the Rumer's (a family from church) for Passover (because the mom is Jewish and I'm 1/2 Jewish). We ate all the traditional food and said all the prayers (in Hebrew!!). I got to see Elissa's prom pictures too! She looked so pretty!
Today- I went to church, ate lunch at Nur's, came home, took a LONG nap, then went to youth group. We talked about sex. It was too much like a lecture though...the youth minister only presented the "abstinence" side, and not everything else, so I brought all that stuff up.
Beach countdown- 5 days!
Caroline and I are going to go to the Y to work out. I also need to do more shopping and tan some more! We're driving up Friday early afternoon. I'm so excited!
Next Veronica Mars episode countdown- 2 days!
I think I'm more excited about that then the beach, haha.
