Summary : Kyuhyun has to deal with a stranger girl named Sungmin, who suddenly come to his life... and his apartment.

The next days, it becomes a usual routine. Sungmin will wake up early at 6 AM to make breakfast. Then Kyuhyun will be waken up by the delicious smell of Sungmin’s cook, get a drink, take a shower, eat breakfast together with Sungmin without words, then head to his office.
In the afternoon when she get bored, Sungmin will fall asleep or take a walk around randomly, or sometimes she’s visited by Ryeowook when she has a night shift at hospital, or vise versa. One day when Sungmin visits Ryeowook, Ryeowook introduces her to her boyfriend, Yesung. He is a back up singer for one of the biggest orchestra in Korea. But with his talent, actually he deserves the center stage.
Yesung easily accept Sungmin like Ryeowook did. He insist that he want Sungmin to call him ‘Oppa’, because she call Ryeowook with ‘Unnie’. Yesung is humble, but weird at the same time, because he loves his pet turtles so much that he always talk to them and treat them like his own children. Sungmin feel grateful that she could know people like Ryeowook and Yesung. And they are really nice couple. They seems compatible with each other.
“Unnie, Oppa, when did you two become a couple? How did you guys meet?” Sungmin ask them curiously. The couple turn their gaze to one another, then giggle. Sungmin just smile amusedly as she eyes Yesung squeeze Ryeowook’s hand.
“He was my patient. Cliche story, huh?” Sungmin laughs.
“Yes, indeed it’s a cliche story. But it’s so sweet at the same time.”
Then they end up having lunch together. Sometimes Ryeowook will tease Sungmin about her being Kyuhyun’s ‘wife’ now. Sungmin will just smile and shrug her shoulder to avoid the topic.
In the other afternoon, a week since she lived with Kyuhyun, Sungmin encourage herself to knock at Hyukjae’s door.
“Sungmin!” Hyukjae shouts enthusiastically as he knows that Sungmin was the one who knocked. “Where have you been? I’ve been wondering whether you are home or not, because i was bored watching a movie alone.. Come in!” without letting Sungmin say anything, because her “Hi!” has been ignored, Hyukjae drags her inside his simple and tidy apartment.
“Here, here, Sungmin!” he pats the couch, offering her to take a seat. “Thanks..”
“So... You don’t have anything to do?” He flash her his gummy smile.
“Nope! That’s why i’m here.” She chuckles.
“You mean you don’t go to school?”
“I’ve had my degree already, Hyukjae..”
“Wow, really? You look so young and cute to be a graduate student. How old are you?”
“Really? But I’m 24. You?”
“Me too! So, we’re at the same age? Cool!” He says cheerfully.
“How about you, Hyukjae? Don’t you have anything to do? School? Job?”
“I haven’t graduated yet. I’m too lazy, hahaha... But i’m also a choreographer. And sometimes i become a back up dancer for some singers. They call me ‘The Dance Machine’, you know?” Hyukjae says it proudly. Sungmin can’t stop smiling and laughing watching Hyukjae’s attitude.
“Okay, okay, I believe you.” Sungmin says while nodding.
So, they continue talking about random things. As Sungmin have expected it before, the two of them get along well each other easily. Hyukjae tells her that he lived alone since he started the college, while his parents living in the suburban near Seoul. And here it comes, Hyukjae finally ask about her family.
“How about your parents? Do you live here for a moment or.. for a long time? Are you that close to Kyuhyun?” Hyukjae asks her, tapping his chin with his fingers.
‘Oh, no! Hyukjae only knows that i’m Kyuhyun’s cousin. How am i supposed to answer those questions? But, maybe i can tell him the truth now, that i actually am not his cousin? Isn’t it too early? But i know i can trust Hyukjae. He’s very bubbly and very nice young man. And i already feel close to him.’ Sungmin thinks hard. Maybe she can tell him the truth, and it seems that she cannot lie to him anymore.
“Min! Sungmin~” Hyukjae calls her in melody, and it success to make her back to reality in front of her eyes.
“Yes? Hehehe, i’m sorry.. What is it again? Oh, parents... and Kyuhyun..” Hyukjae can catch the weirdness of Sungmin’s attitude.
“Is there anything that you want me to know, Min?” Hyukjae slowly persuade Sungmin to tell him, raising his eyebrows curiously. Sungmin immediately let out a sigh.
“Alright, i can’t lie to you. Actually, Kyuhyun is...”
“Not your cousin?” Hyukjae cuts her nonchalantly. Sungmin’s eyes widen.
“How did you know?” Hyukjae smiles understandingly.
“I could sense it..”
“Was it that obvious? That i lied to you?” Sungmin narrows her eyes apologetically.
“I didn’t even know... I just got a feeling. So, is he your boyfriend?”
“Noooo, no, no!” Sungmin shakes her head and waves her hands furiously.
“So... you’re his wife!” Hyukjae exclaims playfully.
“Hyukjae! Aish...” Sungmin hit his shoulder in frustrated. Hyukjae burst out laughing.
“You have to see your face! It’s getting redder, you know?” Hyukjae’s still laughing while Sungmin cover her face with her palms. Sungmin just let him be, until he calm himself down.
“So... You two are complete strangers? How could it be?! I mean you never knew him before, or what?”
“It’s a long story.” Sungmin replies him shortly, shrugging her shoulders.
“I’m here to listen, Min! Come on!”
“What did you just call me?”
“Min! Why? You don’t like it? Do you prefer.. ‘Baby’? Ohh, maybe Kyuhyun won’t like it... ” Hyukjae found out that teasing Sungmin is so entertaining. And now he laughs in satisfaction.
“Yeah.. whatever, Hyuk!” Sungmin understand that if she continue this, she will be in embarrassment forever. She never win in this teasing game, especially with her and Kyuhyun being the topic.
“Awww, i love it when you call me ‘Hyuk’?” He nudges her with his elbow. “Come on! Tell me about you and Kyuhyun. How come two strangers can live together under the same rooftop?”
So, Sungmin tell Hyukjae how she ended up with living in Kyuhyun’s apartment. From she ran away from her house because the arrange marriage, until Ryewook who suggest and force Kyuhyun to let her stay in his apartment for some times. They continue talking about their past, totally forgetting the movie which Hyukjae planned to watch. And Sungmin’s really oblivious about her ‘responsibilities’ of house chores, because time flies that it’s already 6.30 PM.
“Oh my, what time is it, Hyuk?” She snaps as she land her hands on her head.
“It’s 7 PM. Why?” Hyukjae’s confused at her sudden changes. But realization hit him, then he adds. “Ohhh, probably your husband already came home! Didn’t he? You have to go home now, Min!”
“Shut up! I know it. I have to go now.” Sungmin hits his head, making Hyukjae let out a fake whimper. Then she gets up from the couch with Hyukjae follow behind her.
“Will you come back?” Hyukjae raise his eyebrows, smiling hopefully.
“Yes, Hyuk. Thanks for today.” She answers him with a gentle smile, then she starts to walk away from the door frame. But then Hyukjae calls her again. “Min!”
“Yes?” She turns back her head to see him. But she widens her eyes when Hyukjae quickly kiss her cheeks without a warning. Now he grins mischievously, and waves at her without a guilt. Then quick close his door when Sungmin glares and try to slap his head in annoyance. “Hyukjae! Aish, that brat!”

Sungmin happily cooks the dinner for her and Kyuhyun. It’s almost 8 PM, but in fact Kyuhyun hasn’t arrived home. Well, he usually come home between 8 until 9.30 PM, depending on his kind of job that day. So, it’s only a matter of time when he will come back. But sungmin decided to make a dinner before he arrive. And then they will have a dinner together.
It’s 9 PM now, but Kyuhyun haven’t arrived yet. Sungmin has finished cooking, now that the dinner has set up on the dining table. She sits there patiently, waiting for Kyuhyun to come. She shift her position once in awhile, rest her chin on her palm, then fold her hands together on the table and rest her head above it. Until her eyes are covered by the sleepiness, that she can’t help but unconsciously fall asleep there.

Kyuhyun comes home at 9.40 PM. He enters his apartment and close the door behind him, wondering why the place is so quiet. He put off his jacket and place his bag on the desk beside the door. He walks over to the kitchen to get a drink, only to get surprised seeing the sleeping Sungmin on the dining table. He scans the table, and realize that she probably waiting for him and haven’t eat dinner yet.
Is she waiting for me, until she fell asleep? Geez, why did she have to wait for me? So, it means that she hasn’t eaten dinner yet? What if she fell sick? Now how do i wake her up?
“Ehmm.. hey, hey... wake up!” Kyuhyun shakes her shoulder hesitantly. He doesn’t know why he never called her by her name. It’s something absurd that he himself never understand. He was never this close to a girl before, after all.
Sungmin opens her eyes slowly, suddenly feeling someone’s appearance close to her. Then she sits up and rubs her eyes. “Kyuhyun-sshi, you’re home. I’m sorry i fell asleep...” She smiles with slightly laugh, making Kyuhyun immediately look away and scratch his nape unnecessarily.
What the hell, Kyuhyun?!? She only rubbed her eyes and smiled. Why do you have to feel uncomfortable?
But it was cute, and she looks beautiful. Kyuhyun thinks.
“Please sit down and eat, Kyuhyun-sshi...” She says while flipping the plates for them.
“Are you waiting for me?” Kyuhyun asks as he takes a seat beside her.
“Yeah... But i felt sleepy and fell asleep.” She chuckles to herself.
“You know you don’t have to do that...” Kyuhyun stops himself from adding ‘What if you fall sick’.
“It’s okay. I just felt that i wanted to eat dinner together.” She’s laughing now. Kyuhyun curves his lips slightly. But unfortunately for him, Sungmin notices it. She stops her laughing and stares at the slightly-smiling Kyuhyun who doesn’trealize being stare at.
“You’re smiling.” She exclaims shortly, but enough to make Kyuhyun changes his expression, then look at her. “Huh?”
“I said you’re smiling. You know? I never saw you smile since i lived here a week ago.” She simply says, smiling warmly. “You look better when you smile, Kyuhyun-sshi..”
Kyuhyun pause for some seconds while staring at smiling Sungmin. Then for her surprise, he suddenly chuckles loudly. It makes her laugh in satisfaction. “Even will look better if you laugh. You know? I think from now on, i will wait until you come home to eat dinner together with you.” Kyuhyun just nods his head and smile in amusement, while pretending busy himself with taking the food.
So, they eat together in a warm silent, only a few times voice was heard when Sungmin offers foods to Kyuhyun. But finally, Kyuhyun is the one who begins the conversation as he finish his dinner. And Sungmin is still eating since she’s a slow when it comes to eating.
“Ehh, i wonder if you like to work at a Coffee Shop. But my friend owns one, and maybe he can employ you there. What do you think?” he looks at her
“Are you serious?! Of course i want to! Yeah, since i’m doing nothing everyday, i want to have an activity as well. I easily get bored. And you know i need money now.” She says with sparkling eyes.
“It’s still unsure. But my friend is trying out to get you in, though.”
“Thanks before. I really wish it to come true.” She smiles cheerfully, then proceeding to her dinner again. Meanwhile, Kyuhyun still stay there and think about something.
“Hey, y’know? I thought you were sleeping all day because of the boredom. But you still felt sleepy while waiting for me? How come?” Sungmin burst out laughing hearing that and seeing his weird full-of-question face.
“What?” he defends himself, raising his eyebrows. Is that weird that i ask her that question? Good, i act wrongly again in front of her. Where did your pride fly to, Kyuhyun?
“How come you suddenly thinking about that? You think i just sleep all day and do nothing? Well, i myself couldn’t stand it.” She tries to calm herself down, while Kyuhyun thinks that the situation now is 1-0 for Sungmin. She clears her throat before explain it to him. “I’ve said that i easily get bored. So, yesterday i visited Ryeowook-unnie. I even met with Yesung-oppa. Actually, she visited me for a few days before. And for today, i went to Hyukjae’s apartment and had a lot of talk with him. He’s nice. You know him, right?”
“The one who lives next door? I know him, but i don’t really know him that well. I rarely talk to him. So, you visited him? How could you know him?”
“Yes. I met him accidentally. And I am indeed a good neighbor, despite of being new here.” She said proudly, and Kyuhyun thinks the score now is 2-0 for him not being a ‘good neighbor’. Maybe it’s even 3-0, for him being lost to Hyukjae. Now he feel again that uncomfortable feeling that exasperating him, when he is imagining Sungmin befriends with Hyukjae.
“I think having a bonding time like this is good for us, Kyuhyun-sshi. I really think that from now on, i’ll wait you come home and then we can eat together.” She says sincerely as she finally finish her dinner, smiling widely to now-dumbfounded Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun doesn’t know how to feel. He feel a happiness envelop his heart when he think about her so-called ‘bonding time’. He definitely anticipate it. But in the other hand, he really can’t think about Sungmin being close to Hyukjae, instead of him as her roommate.
Meanwhile, Sungmin really enjoyed their time being together. Kyuhyun finally revealed the other side of his personality. He started to open up himself to her. And it’s a very good start for them to be a good friends and roommate.
Finally the wall between them slowly start to show up its door.

So, they eat together in a warm silent, only a few times voice was heard when Sungmin offers foods to Kyuhyun. But finally, Kyuhyun is the one who begins the conversation as he finish his dinner. And Sungmin is still eating since she’s a slow when it comes to eating.
“Ehh, i wonder if you like to work at a Coffee Shop. But my friend owns one, and maybe he can employ you there. What do you think?” he looks at her
“Are you serious?! Of course i want to! Yeah, since i’m doing nothing everyday, i want to have an activity as well. I easily get bored. And you know i need money now.” She says with sparkling eyes.
“It’s still unsure. But my friend is trying out to get you in, though.”
“Thanks before. I really wish it to come true.” She smiles cheerfully, then proceeding to her dinner again. Meanwhile, Kyuhyun still stay there and think about something.
“Hey, y’know? I thought you were sleeping all day because of the boredom. But you still felt sleepy while waiting for me? How come?” Sungmin burst out laughing hearing that and seeing his weird full-of-question face.
“What?” he defends himself, raising his eyebrows. Is that weird that i ask her that question? Good, i act wrongly again in front of her. Where did your pride fly to, Kyuhyun?
“How come you suddenly thinking about that? You think i just sleep all day and do nothing? Well, i myself couldn’t stand it.” She tries to calm herself down, while Kyuhyun thinks that the situation now is 1-0 for Sungmin. She clears her throat before explain it to him. “I’ve said that i easily get bored. So, yesterday i visited Ryeowook-unnie. I even met with Yesung-oppa. Actually, she visited me for a few days before. And for today, i went to Hyukjae’s apartment and had a lot of talk with him. He’s nice. You know him, right?”
“The one who lives next door? I know him, but i don’t really know him that well. I rarely talk to him. So, you visited him? How could you know him?”
“Yes. I met him accidentally. And I am indeed a good neighbor, despite of being new here.” She said proudly, and Kyuhyun thinks the score now is 2-0 for him not being a ‘good neighbor’. Maybe it’s even 3-0, for him being lost to Hyukjae. Now he feel again that uncomfortable feeling that exasperating him, when he is imagining Sungmin befriends with Hyukjae.
“I think having a bonding time like this is good for us, Kyuhyun-sshi. I really think that from now on, i’ll wait you come home and then we can eat together.” She says sincerely as she finally finish her dinner, smiling widely to now-dumbfounded Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun doesn’t know how to feel. He feel a happiness envelop his heart when he think about her so-called ‘bonding time’. He definitely anticipate it. But in the other hand, he really can’t think about Sungmin being close to Hyukjae, instead of him as her roommate.
Meanwhile, Sungmin really enjoyed their time being together. Kyuhyun finally revealed the other side of his personality. He started to open up himself to her. And it’s a very good start for them to be a good friends and roommate.
Finally the wall between them slowly start to show up its door.
