So this is my second update today, but I'm just trying to keep you up to date before I had off for a week.
Amsterdam was a lot of fun, but it's definitely not my favorite place. I bet it would be wonderful in the spring or summer, but in the winter, it just isn't worth the effort. haha! We saw quite a bit of the country, but it was so cold and windy that we just couldn't be out too long. We saw the Anne Frank House and the Heineken Brewery, but we got caught up in a Christmas parade. It was fun however. It was definitely an experience. The guy at the passport control said, "So a Holland coming to Holland?" when I handed him my passport. I thought it was very funny, and Paul wouldn't let me forget it the whole weekend. He made me take pictures with the windmills, saying I was discovering my heritage. I can't seem to convince him I'm not Dutch. haha!
I leave tomorrow for Tunisia, so I won't be able to update until I get back most likely.
I'm so sad my time is almost over here. I love this country and this continent. I would love to live here for a while after I get a job. Maybe I can find someone who will send me over here. :)
Tonight I'm going to go see Spamalot, part of the Monty Python theme. It should be funny!
Here are some photos of Amsterdam, but remember there are more on my
photobucket. Anyway, until later. Happy Thanksgiving!!! Eat some good turkey for me. :)
