The world keeps going...

Today was a great day!  After class, I headed to my internship, and as I exited the Westminster Tube stop, I heard the bells of Westminster ringing.  It was BEAUTIFUL!  So obviously, that meant a wedding or a funeral.  However, that also meant they had the entire road between Westminster Abbey and Parliament, down past the streets I have to walk to for my internship blocked off.  No fun.  So I had to whip out my trusty map and walk around Westminster to find the office.  It only took me about 15 additional minutes, but I was super proud of myself!!!

After work, while I was getting ready to get back on the tube, a young couple stopped me and asked me how to get to "We Will Rock You," the music about...Queen?  I thought I was going to cry, but I actually knew where it was!!!  I told them how to get there, the tube stop and everything.  Except I told them to go Westbound, and they should have gone Eastbound...maybe they figured it out. :)

Max, one of the professors, cooked all of us a huge dinner tonight.  We had breakfast for dinner, and it was amazing!  I was so stuffed.  He's a good cook too!  Afterwards, it was a great chance for all of us to relax and talk.  I had to head up to my room to work on school work, but it's been a great day.

I might head out to Normandy while I'm in Paris, but I think I'll talk myself out of it.  After all, I've been dying to go to Paris for so long, and now I'm taking myself away.  What am I thinking?!?  I think I can find something to do in Paris.  haha!

Well, I hope you're all having a great time in the States.  It's getting cool here, so I'll have to break out a scarf.  I'll update again soon!
