i'm at my parents house right now and i just heard my mom in the other room, singing "twenty twenty twenty four hours to go-oh-oh..i wanna be sedated"
and i go, "mom? are you singing the ramones?"
and she goes, "am i what?"
and i go, "are you singing the ramones?"
and she goes, "who?"
and i go, "the ramones"
and she goes, "i guess so?" not really knowing what she was singing, other than a catchy song she's heard here and there over the years.
my mom isn't punk. but i'm not bummed.
