Ed and Hank, 6th update

Wherever yer goin' 'm goin' yer way...

Ed and Hank will probably be back towards the end of summer… if Ed does anything. (Beyond the usual, that is.) And Hank might be able to send brief updates and/or postcards every now and again since Iris gave them her old laptop.

Glad they're finally takin that road trip. Lots of interestin rocks, and rock art, and good places to eat that ain't irradiated an have mighty fine pie. Not to mention wild blue skies and beautiful sunsets and a blanket made of stars. Foam pads aren't a bad idea either, even if they don't sound as romantic. It's how you inaugurate em that counts--well, and how much you enjoy bein on em after that.

Love those dumbasses. Look forward to hearin from em again some time. Wonder if Ed'll ever try his hand at writin somethin bout Hank? He's changed so much, he just might, specially if Hank does somethin interestin.

Tell you what, friend: Ed and Hank are dead wrong bout bein made up. Mighta been at the beginning, but they're real now--just like Ennis and Jack are real. 'Cause they're alive in my heart, an yours, an we all know that love is what gives all of us life and shows us our real selves.

So drive safe, you guys, an don' forget to stop by and say Howdy if you ever get to the East Coast. We got interestin sky-scrapers, all kinds a art, an I make a really fine pie.:-)

Hanks glad they're finally taking that road trip too. He was itchin' ta get outta town.

Shhhh... don't tell anyone, but Ed and Hank forced me to put that stuff about them being made up in my epitaph. So don't believe them for a minute.

'Blue, anybody could make that mistake- no worries. I'm on vacation in Oklahoma and didn't get to log in and read til tonight. So it weren't me tellin ya how much I liked the update.

I really thought that was you! East coast, pie, and such a way with words.

Okay, now I think I know who it is... 'Cause of the song reference. And she has an amazing way with words too. But I'm not saying anything until I know for sure this time... Make an idiot of myself once, shame on me... Twice shame on me too. :D

Yeah, it's me, jennydcf. Otherwise known as Jenny (on the DC forums :-)) I'm embarassed that I didn't log in! I never want to be anonymous. I'm pretty sure we've met over there, lalaynia, but if not, Howdy! I'm proud to be your twin (and my mother, though surprised, is even prouder to discover she has another daughter--and embarassed that she didn't notice your advent in all the confusion.:-))

As for you, dear author--it's an understandable mistake, being she's my twin. And you know that saying about great minds: we're apparently very unoriginal in our thinking, anyway, so it's not surprising that people get confused.:-) Apologies for putting you to the blush!

Hey Jenny, No apologies necessary. And the last thing either you or Laly are is unoriginal in your thinking. (I was just in too much of a hurry and thinking too much about pie.)
