Love your montages. Especially liked the 'tank' comments. You - er I mean Hank and Ed always make me LOL.

Hey! Tanks! (Sorry... that was bad.) Don't blame Hank for this... We take turns. He writes the actual chapters, I do this stuff. Glad it made you laugh! I admit, I had to restrain myself a bit with the tank stuff... (For Ed and Hank's sake.)
Merry Christmas back atcha xxx

I just love your "travelogues"! They are just incredible. (Btw, I would have voted for getting the cast iron dutch oven as a gift for Iris. I for one can't seem to cook on/with anything *but* cast iron.)

Thanks! Yeah, cast iron is great. Maybe we'll go back and look for something a little smaller in cast iron for Iris. Glad you like the travelogues! I tend to get a little carried away with them...

I want a "visible Cow"! That blue, yellow & brown shirt with the horses was just wrong! your travelogue cracked me up. (wonder what the store owner thought about you taking all these pictures....)

Hey... That yellow and brown shirt with horses was my favorite! ;D No, you're right, it was just wrong! I went back to check on the "visible cow" for you, but they were sold out. (sorry...) As to taking all the pictures, I'm sure I'm now on some kind of "watch list". Well, I most likely was before, but I bet my name's been bumped to the top of the list now. The restaurant was the hardest, 'cause it was really kind of crowded. I had to ask people if they minded if I took pictures of the John Wayne pictures over their heads. :D The people in the boot store clearly thought we were lunatics. The only time I was approached in the big store was when I was taking pictures of the dead animals. Some guy thought I was taking the pictures 'cause I liked hunting so much. (???) He then told me a very long and very confusing story about his daughter and fishing(?!?)...

Hey Joan, Glad it made you laugh! "Where'd you say that store was?" Why, that store's in town, of course... Downtown to be more specific. Can't miss it. ;D If you're aiming to get yerself some boots you'd better come here! Hint: Our town was named after a tree that does not grow here and never did. (I swear...)

Well I want to go shopping with Ed and Hank. It is so ironic you showed us this, my partner and I were searching for a good boots store and found a nice one half way between here and Buffalo and bought ourselves some hats, shirts, boots and well yes even a Lasso for ourselves and heck I don't own a horse anymore so you put two and two together. LOL I love the Christmas display really, really nice. On the Marshall Fields thing again don't forget to try the Iced tea it is the best. Black currant tea very very good for iced tea. Joe

Hey Joe, Hank and I will definitely try to drag Ed down to Marshall Fields for the black currant iced tea - sounds great! (Well, I can only speak for me and Hank, not Ed...) Wish I could see your hats/shirts/boots. And of, course, love that you bought a lasso. I simply can't imagine what use you'd have for it if you don't own a horse... (LOL)
