The big day had arrived. 
The day of the "Sheep festival"!
It was a gorgeous day. 
Seriously. 
Wall to wall clouds and a heavy, steady rain. 
So rare in these parts
that it is considered beautiful

Thanks! And those cowpokes really do travel in pairs!! :D I would have had more pictures of pairs of cowboys to post if my camera had cooperated. It didn't like the low light and was too slow to capture a couple of the more intimate cowboy moments I witnessed. Damn! :(

Yeah, Ed and Hank swear they were just looking for me all that time too, but I don't think so. (Hmmm... Come to think of it, there was that one locked 'sheep camp'... Bet they were in there the whole time.)

Since Ed won't budge on the picture thing, Hank's pretending not to care that you're imagining him as the guy with the purse. He's not doing a real good job of pretending though. :)

"it would have been such a lovely subject for you and your camera :D" I doubt my camera would have been able to handle the dim light in that trailer. I was having trouble with that camera all day. Mighta at least got some interesting shadows on film... :D

LOL! This was wonderfully mad! Looks like you had an entertaining weekend - glad you worked out how to use the umbrella ;) I'm not surprised you lost Ed and Hank in that crowd - and I want one of those tshirts as well!

Thanks! Glad you liked it. Ed and Hank helped make what would have been a very dull sheep festival quite entertaining for me, despite my dislike for such massive crowds of people... ;D. I wanted one of those tshirts for myself too, not just for Ed and Hank. So I was very disappointed that they weren't selling them. :( Probably would have bought every one they had if they had been for sale.
