Weekend.
Short version:good
In more detail - caught the train etc & got to Doncaster - kept nodding off & was expecting to wake up in Newcastle. Didn't have time to buy surprise Daffodil bulbs (Aunt fav flowers) so headed straight to Casa Shannon. Was strange talking to Kath seeing that she'd been terribly ill & at some points couldnt manage coherent english & was missing large portions of memory during the recovery. Kath & Mike have always been fit active people, it doesn't add up that she can have had a stroke at 50 odd.
That said my ex-flatmate Amy has had one at 22 so I suppose perspective is in order.
Anyway as my Aunty Claire also popped round we had a chance to catch up. Its been 2 years - too long apart from good family, will have to make amends Liverpool isn't far.
Anyway after nodding off all day I slept form 9.30 - 11.30 next day & was awoken for a cooked breakfast - which was nice.
An afternoon walking around a man-made lake / bird haven rounded off the trip.
Now a real test - I need to complete a hardcore week of uni & get ahead on all of my commitments, because fuck-all will get done in the week that follows!
