So, first of all? A big squee for this ep. Because it deserves it. And because I think I've read a fic like this before. Or twenty. Is it me or it seems they not just making episodes, they're making episodes for us? I so feel the love in this fandom :)
It's official,
nothing looks bad on our boys. Nothing. Ugly orange body suits? Even uglier shoes and socks? Yep, still good. Plus, we got to see a lot of arm's of DOOM porn. Which turns out is very distracting when you're trying to follow the plot.
Moving on.
I loved their interaction through the episode. Dean with his happily eating prison food, and being cocky and gambling for smokes with prisoners and winning, heh. I love how he can always look for the bright side and manage a smile in any situation, whereas Sam is always worrying and making his little adorable bitch faces.
And I love how despite repeatedly saying that it was a stupid plan, Sam still went along with it. Oh, they're such brothers. I think I need to squee again.
"I think I'm adorable." OH DEAN, I THINK THAT TOO *snuggles him* Also, "they're doughnuts, not love" OMG I was dying there.
I was actually scared by this week's monster, the scene at the beginning with the eyes popping up suddenly? I jumped. Also when she's approaching Dean, and he had nowhere to run. Very nicely done. And we got to see not one, but two pyro!Winchesters moments, and that's always good.
FBI guy is annoying. Nothing much to say about him.
Jared is like, younger in this episode. Maybe it feels that way because he's surrounded by all those big middle-aged prisoners, but still.
And tell me I'm not the only one who though he was very hot in that scene while moping the floor? His hair was so yummy, I didn't even miss his emo!hair anymore :D
"He kept staring in a way that made me uneasy" *snickers* And Sam's face when he turns and they close the doors? PRICELESS. They guy was actually bigger than him! :D
"You from Texas all of a sudden?" Yay I picked some meta joke/in joke/whatever.
Poor Dean, he sure gets his share today. And the thing with the nurse was a close one, it got me wondering just how much damage their bodies have as a result of their job, the kind of stress they have to endure overtime a ghost or spirit tries to kills them or something. They should be more careful!
I liked that the attorney believed in our boys (she reminded me of Sara from PB), cause if she hadn't the FBI guy would have probably caught them, this time for real. I'm not sure how I feel about them having such strong charges against them. I mean, if you think about it, it is not a question anymore of whether to leave this life once they've killed the yellow-eyed demon, they're going to be hunted by the police forever.
Preview for next episode? OMG They are so going to need a hug after that. And me, too. *clings*
