I've been catching up on my fic reading this weekend, so I present you with recs
If you say to me tomorrow Sam/Dean, PG-13, 3000 words
A wonderful coda to "What Is and What Should Never Be" that touches one of the things that stuck with me from that episode, the 'Sam was happy' issue. Because that was fantasy!Sam, the real Sam was worrying sick and looking for Dean like a madman. Definitely not happy.
Beach Blanket Poltergeist gen, R, long
They come from the north, exhausted by the sprawling highways and overpasses of Silicon Valley.
Satisfying long, very good case fic. The imagery is amazing, and the descriptions really take you were the boys are. You now it's a great fandom when it can produce gen this good.
And the Devil Makes Three Dean/OFC, Sam/Dean, NC-17, 25,910 words
Dean never thought he'd be the one living the apple pie life. There's a lot of things he never thought would happen.
I love the way the whole Sam/Dean thing is treated. It's painful, you can feel the wrongness of it, yet the inevitability of it.
extra, extra (read all about it) RPS Jared/Jensen, PG-13, 2545 words
A network season in the lives of our two Noble Heroes, told epistolary/scrapbook-style.
Very original and entertaining, and a fantasy I'd like to become reality!
Exact Change Sam/Dean, Adult, 31,580 words
Summary: Sam is the physical embodiment of everything Dean has ever done right in his entire life.
Writen for the
spn_j2_bigbang. I really enjoyed it, they go back to Palo Alto and there're bits and pieces of Sam's years at Stanford. The Sam voice is spot on, and the relationship builds slowly.
Also, I've made some drawings during these past weeks (best way for me to blow off steam besides breaking things, which generally bothers my roommate for some reason), but I just realized I took the scanner home last weekend. *facepalm*
I guess I'll scan them when I go home in a few days.
