When you are working in a part of the music industry and your own colleagues at work -people who talk to the actual bands, negotiate with managers, arrange concerts- call you a "music freak", you start to feel like so.
Anyway it's a nice... "condition" to "suffer".
Some more things about last weekend: after seeing Standstill on Friday, on Saturday I had a dolly meet-up with the girls from Kitty Vintage. I had so much fun! We went to a Japanese restaurant where everything was delicious. Toolera was spending the weekend here with his boyfriend and his band, it was great to see her again :) (show me the pics at the gig, toolera!, piiiiiiiiiiiics!)
Then that night we went to see Hamlet @ Apolo. I had never seen them live before, Jack had about 6 times. Although I have never been a big fan of them, I have to say I ended up enjoying the concert very much, impossible not to when a band shows such a charismatic presence and energy release onstage.
My pics suck as they always do on Apolo, but just for the record...
When the gig finished we went to Mephisto to see Stravaganzza, where toolera's boyfriend, Carlos Expósito, plays drums (and how does he do it!!! :O ). I had a very good time with them, Yuki and Maynarda :) Then we went back to Jack's because we were exhausted! hehe.
So that was last weekend.
Today I'm going to Mando Diao's gig at Apolo. I've heard quite a few positive opinions about their gigs and I feel so curious about their live act!
And both tomorrow and on Monday, Nine Inch Nails. I can't hardly believe we have the chance to see them two times in a row! *drools*
I'm shivering in anticipation too because from the rumours I've read on the Internet they seem to have played quite a lot of songs from The Downward Spiral in their latest shows.
And yeah this is totally off-topic, but I'm dying to see these two live... one day...one day...
